Project Analysis:
The information about products will be presented in two ways. First, the
information will be available category-wise, and users can click on a
particular category to view all related products available with complete
information. Categories can include "Mugs," "Cards," "Bracelets," etc.,
with suitable sub-categories defined. Second, the information will be
categorized according to the brand names of the products. If a user wants
to see only "Hallmark" products or any other company's products, they
can click on a link/button/menu, etc., and see only those brand products.
When a user selects a particular brand, a list of products for that brand
will be displayed.
A brief summary of features of individual products will be displayed on
the web page along with the product, but detailed features will be stored
in individual Word documents that can be downloaded or viewed by the
user who wishes to see the same. Users will be able to compare the
various products of different as well as similar brands. The "Contact Us"
page will have the address of the company displayed using GeoLocation
API (e.g., GoogleMaps).
Project Design:
The website will be developed for the Windows platform using HTML5,
JavaScript, and Geolocation. The home page will be created using frames
with a suitable logo, and details of gift items with suitable images will be
displayed. The site will display a menu with options for a brief
introduction to the various gift items available, the location of the shop,
and any other information if required.
The "Contact Us" page will have the address of the company displayed
using GeoLocation API (e.g., GoogleMaps). The mail address will be
displayed, and when clicked, it will invoke the local mail client from
where users can send an email.
