ACTIVITY
The students will be divided into four groups, each group will get all the paraphernalia and devices in
the computer laboratory needed to run their computer inside the classroom. (The teacher will provide
the materials like the monitor, CPU, keyboard, and AVR)
ANALYSIS:
Let each group assemble their desktop computer inside the classroom to test if they know how put the
different wire according to their correct ports.
ABSTRACTION:
The teacher will ask the following questions:
1. What is the purpose of each devices or paraphernalia in your computer?

2. What will happen if one device or paraphernalia is not present?
3. Do you think your computer can run without this?
APPLICATION:
Through the guidance of the teacher, let the students operate their computer to test if it works or not.
F. Developing Mastery How would you relate our activity in our lesson? Do you think, you can install the operating system you
want if you don’t follow the correct specifications or needed requirements for this?
G. Finding practical applications of HANDS ON ACTIVITY:

The teacher will let the students know the properties of their computer in order for them to determine
the operating system applicable to it.
Step by Step Instruction for PC Information:
1. Go to Search button of your computer for easy access of your settings.

2. Type the keyword Settings.
3. Look for your PC settings, and then click PC and devices.
4. Look for PC Info, you will see the PC information just like the image below.
Step by Step Instruction for the properties of the present Operating System installed.
1. Click the Start button of your computer

2. Go to My Computer or This PC for more updated version of Windows.
3. Look for Drive C, then right click, the drop down list bow will appear.
4. Click the Properties.
5. This will show the following information about the properties of your computer just like the
image below.

The teacher will distribute the metacards and let the students write at least one word that would
summarize the lesson. Out of the words posted, they will make a sentence.
I. Evaluating Learning Direction: Based on the specification presented on the Windows 10 version of operating system,
determine whether your computer can upgrade the version of the present operating system.
(The students will see the properties of their computer just like the given activity above)

2. Does your processor applicable for upgrading the version of your operating system?
3. Does your hard disk space enough to install the Windows 10 version of OS?
4. What do you think will happen if one of the specification of this Windows 10 version of
operating system does not meet?
5. Do you think, you can proceed to the installation of the Windows 10 version of operating
system?
