Ans: No. B.Sc. students are not eligible to apply.
5. I am studying B. Tech 2nd or 3rd year at IIT Hyderabad. Can I apply
for the SURE Internship program?
Ans: No. This programme is ONLY for non-IITH students.
6. I had a query that this question in the SURE application form : Are
you in the top 10% of your batch? So, the 'batch' here means the complete BTech (2020-24) batch including all the branches, or only my branch (CSE)?
Ans: The batch means only from your respective branch in your institution. 7. I am in M.A./M.Sc. 2nd semester but my 1st semester result is not out. Am I eligible?
Ans: You are not eligible. You may apply for next year.
8. I heard about the internship. may I know about the clear view of the department, and what all the topics are covered in the internship.
Ans: Actual project topics for the internships will be available after completion of the selection process of the candidates.
9. Please clarify about the column of "Highlight maximum of 3
scholarly accomplishments in the order of priority (Maximum 50 Words)"; do I need to mention any referee details?
Ans: No. Please add any information in support of your application
like qualifying any national exam, Olympiads, or any other academic achievements worth mentioning.
10. I am in my 2nd year of BSc in triple majors. Will my
application be considered as I am in the top 10% of the batch?
Ans: No. B.Sc. students are not eligible.
11. Though I am a 2nd year B. I am a Tech student, my
college did not complete even 1st semester. How can I apply?
Ans: You are not eligible. You may apply for next year.
12. I am currently pursuing Msc 2nd semester of 1st year
now and I do not have my last semester marksheet as the results are not published. Ans: You are not eligible. You may apply for next year's SURE Internship program.
13. What is the cost of the SURE Internship?
Ans: The SURE internship offered by IIT Hyderabad is completely
free of cost.
14. Is SURE a paid internship?
Ans: Yes, successful interns will be paid an honorarium of ₹15,000
in total for the two months duration.
15. Is the hostel included in the fellowship charge which is
₹15000/-?
Ans: Hostel facility will be provided free of cost. However, the food charges are to be borne by the selected student.
