Gabby (bass)
1- min teaching rhythm
2-3 mins teaching bass notes
1-2 mins teaching bass
Objective: Students will be able to play the bass line with at least 90% accuracy.
Mikaela (acoustic)(rhythm)
Objective: Students will play the rhythm guitar section with at least 90% accuracy
Materials: Guitars and Tab
2 mins - Cover the chords for section 2
2 mins - cover the chords for section 3
1 min - quickly review and questions
Kate (electric)(lead)
Sequence:
1 minute- “We have melody!” Review how to read tab (4th string from nose) (10th fret)
3 minutes- Make them chant the numbers one measure at a time then play
Small chunks then add them together
1 min - perform
Objective:
Students will play the tab melody with accurate notes and rhythms
Materials:
electric guitar (any guitar)
Assess:
If students are struggling after 1 minute, we will simplify to quarter notes
Hannah (vocal)
Objective: Students will sing the lyrics of the scooby doo theme song with correct rhythms and
pitches. Bonus, students who can sing correct rhythms and pitches can add their own vocal
style (ex. Nick Jonas)
