WORDS OF GRATITUDE

Today is the day of achievement, thanksgiving, and crowning glory of our

diligence, industry, and determination. It is the time of reaping the fruits of our
toils after six years of roller coaster adventure of discovery, learning,
participations, values orientation and self- discipline. It is the time where our goals
became a reality.

To the representative of the Schools Division Superintendent,

________________________, our school principal, ___________, Punong
Barangay,_____________, teachers, parents, friends, fellow graduates, ladies and
gentlemen. Good Morning

It is a great honor and privilege to speak in behalf of Batch _____. Standing here in
front of all of you, gave me mixed feelings and emotions, in a way that we now
had reaped the fruits of our labors and toils after six years but we will also be
leaving the portals of our dear Alma Mater who became our second home where
we learned so many things essential to our total development as a person of
intellect and values. I am happy that I surpassed all the tests and trials of basic
education and these medals of awards and the diploma I received are the perfect
evidence that if we only strive hard and try our best in everything we can achieved
everything we want and can be at par excellence. I am sad because, I will surely be
missing you all ‘coz we will not be enrolling in the same high school this June
definitely. I will be missing all the bonds we had and the shared moments of ups
and downs, good and bad. I will be missing my friends who became my buddies all
these years. But as they say, in every beginning there is an end. Yes, today we will
end this chapter of our lives being an elementary student but I am sure that our
friendship will not end here because I believed that the bond of friendship,
togetherness and belongingness that we had form will last forever and is for a
lifetime. Thank you classmates, batch mates and friends for a wonderful and
memorable six years I spent with you.

Being on top of the class, is a proud achievement that is my best gift to my ever
supportive Mama and Daddy. In this moment, I will request them to stand as I gave
them my words of gratitude for everything that they have done for me and for
everybody to hear and to know how proud I am having them as my parents. (insert
here everything you want to tell your Mama and Daddy, be it in Tagalog, Bisaya
or English or in any dialect/language as long as you can express your sincere
gratitude. If possible, make them and all the parents to cry.)
Thanks to all of you dear parents for being with us always since the day we were
born up to this very moment. Your love to us shines through every day as you
wake up early in the morning, getting everything ready for us to school. Thank you
for helping us with our assignments and projects and attending all our needs in
school.
In behalf of the graduates…
Thank you…. Maraming salamat po…. Salamat kaayo…

We also would like to express our endless gratitude to our dear teachers and school
administrator for honing our knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. You became
an integral part of our development as a person of intellect and values. Thank you
for believing in us and for giving us all the chance to show and prove our abilities
and capacities be it in arts, athletics, academics and other disciplines. Thank you
for teaching us diligently ensuring that we can be somebody that can be an asset
and pride of the school and the community in the future. Thank you for extending
your patience, for your perseverance and persistence in teaching us though
sometimes we despise and take for granted but we all knew that naiintindihan nyo
What we will be in the future is truly you are a great part.
We could not be engineers, doctors or somebody else in the future without you.
Some may despise your profession and giving you unwanted remarks but still you
continue to do your job ‘coz you believed that you are the catalyst of change and
you wanted that change will start from our young minds. Sabi nga nila, “No one
understands the life of a teacher unless he became one.”

This achievement we had today is of course with the support of the school’s
stakeholders who are always in support to all the activities and endeavor of the
school. The PTA who is a partner of the school in supporting us be it in academic
and co-curricular activities , thank you for providing us a safe and conducive haven
of learning. To the barangay council headed by Hon. Virgilio C. Calva, for the
financial and logistical support all throughout the activities we participated all
these years.

Above all, we lift all our hands and hearts to the Almighty God in gratefulness for
this wonderful and great blessing. Thank you God Father for making our parents,
teachers, classmates, friends and all the people who had been a part of our success
an instrument of your loving kindness and compassion. Thank you for giving us all
this people around us.
Today is indeed a success not only for us graduates but to each and every one of
us. As the theme speaks, “_________________________”, we manifest that
through concerted and collaborative effort and involvement, we can achieve

teachers, government, stakeholders and all the rest who have been helping each
other backing us up helping us to build a bright future. With your continuous
support, we can be somebody that you and the community can be proud of, a
productive, an asset and a catalyst of change making a progressive community and
of a country as a whole.

Once again, our sincere gratitude to all who’d became a part of what we are today.
