DR.SYLVESTER S. DASAK & CO (Takbal Chambers) is a Nigerian law firm based in Jos. We
undertake work for clients and intermediaries from any location due to our advanced access and

DR. SYLVESTER S. DASAK & CO was founded by Dr Sylvester Sokkur Dasak to provide a

DR Sylvester Sokkur Dasak is the Principal/Founding Partner of DR.SYLVESTER S. DASAK
& CO (Takbal Chambers). His infallible experience informed his decision to form his chambers
with his son who is also a legal practitioners. Prior to legal practice, DR Sylvester Sokkur Dasak
was at Plateau Investment and Property Development Company (PIPC) as Deputy General
Manager (Legal), when Chief Michael Botmang late (then acting Governor of Plateau State)
fetched him out and appointed him as State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry between
2006 and 2007. After his tenure as commissioner, he returned to PIPC as Company
Secretary/Legal Adviser and was Acting General Manager between 2007 and 2012;and
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2012 when he retired from active
service. His interest in the affairs of the ordinary Nigerian citizen prompted him to attend several
conferences and workshops, both within and outside the country and present seminar and
academic papers on a wide range of themes and topical issues affecting the nation. And upon
retirement , Dasak went in to legal practice and was an active/financial member of the Nigerian
Bar Association (NBA), and a member of the Tarok Elders Forum. He is a member of the
following organizations, among numerous others: Plateau Project: Ngwang Ishi O Tarok (NIO)
and Gazum Cultural Economic and Social Development Organization (GACESDO).

(Takbal Chambers), Executive Director GIG105, and Founder College Gig Initiative. Isaac is
passionate about helping others in his community through a mix of education and entertainment
(Edutainment). he also has experience in the areas of Banking Law; Commercial Law; Company
Law; Company Secretarial Services, Intellectual Property; Media Law; Tech Law and Real
Estate.
Outside the ambits of the legal profession, he has amassed experience in different areas In
Human and Social development and recently completed trainings in Scriptwriting, Agribusiness,

Kastomai Wuyep is the Head of Chambers in DR.SYLVESTER S. DASAK & CO. He holds a
law honors degree and masters degree from University of Jos and was called to the Nigerian Bar
in 2016. His areas of expertise are Entertainment Law; Criminal Law; Information Technology
Law ; Company Law; Litigation and Real Estate. He has been involved on a number of
occasions in enlightening the public on the benefits of litigation and the effect on proper and
diligent prosecution of cases in court. He is actively working on avenues to change
governmental policies on the treatment of citizens in Police custody.
Bernard Duamlong

Bernard Duamlong is an Associate Counsel in DR.SYLVESTER S. DASAK & CO. Bernard
specializes in all aspects of the Intellectual Property Law and Practice, especially as it relates to
searches, filings (in Africa & non African countries), registration, renewal, protection,
prosecution and enforcement.
Bernard offers advice to clients on the operation and application of Intellectual Property Laws in
Nigeria and is engaged in representing and ensuring the protection of the Intellectual Property
interest of a variety of clients. Aside from representing clients in obtaining and protecting their
copyrights, trademarks, patents and industrial designs, Bernard has carved a niche for himself in
the area of prosecuting trademarks, copyright, patent & design infringement cases.
Bernard manages trademark portfolios for local and international clients and offers advice to
trademark owners on the protection of their rights; he also represents trademark owners before
the Registrar of Trademarks.
