    Architecture

    Before installing modules, it’s interesting to understand the architecture of the 2 modules which
    need to be installed.

    This schema shows how dialog each software with others:

    All softwares (WinCCOA/Alert) can be installed on the same computer.

    AlertExtension in WinCC OA

    Copy “WCCOAAlert.exe” to WinCC OA directory (by default:


    “C:\Siemens\Automation\WinCC_OA\3.16\bin”):

    In WinCC OA Console, click on “Append a new manager”

    In the list, select “WCCOAAlert (1), and add option “-num 99” (2):

    Troubleshooting

    If you have some issues, it could be interesting to check logs of WinCC OA to see where the problem
    can be.
