    B. School Profile
    Batangas City South Elementary School is a central school that serves 12 barangays - Barangay 7, to
    Barangay 15, classified as residential and commercial areas. The school also served barangay 22, 23 and
    24. There are several pupils from neighboring barangay also enrolled in this school who find it easier to
    come here than to the schools situated in their respective areas like Kumintang, Calicanto and Barangay 6.
    The sources of income of the people in these barangays are employment in government and private
    entities, operation of commercial and industrial establishments and home cottage industries operated on a
    small basis.
    Most of the children in the elementary grades are patronizing the BCSES. High school and college
    students are enrolled in the city schools and universities. Barangay captains and councilmen are doing their
    best for the progress and improvement of their barangay. They are also the school’s number best
    stakeholders. The school is one (1) kilometer away from the City Hall. It is accessible by all means of
    transportation.
