B. MINUTES

I. INTRODUCTION

 The opening program started with the singing of the National Anthem and
prayer followed by the singing of the DepEd Region III Hymn, and Aurora
Hymn.
 SDS Paez acknowledged the participants comprised of the Assistant Schools
Division Superintendent, Chief Supervisors, Unit Heads and Schools Heads.
 SDS Paez called the meeting to order at 10: 09 a.m.

II. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES

 The Secretariat read the previous minutes of the meeting held last August 18,
2022 at Ditumabo National High School, San Luis, Aurora.

 Dr. Alberto B. Nortez, Principal IV, moved for the approval of the minutes of the
previous meeting.

 Mr. Rolando Pajarillo, Principal I, seconded the motion.

 SDS Paez officially approved the Minutes of the previous Meeting.

Excess teachers in schools shall be

transferred to schools needing
additional teachers.

Size of classrooms shall be considered

in giving load to teachers. (7x9-40-45
students, 7x8- 40-45 students, 7x7-30-
40 students, 6x8-30-35 students)

ReManCom Updates DepEd Order No 37, series 2022 shall

be considered in cancellation of classes
during typhoons, earthquakes, floods,
and other calamities.
Executive Orders issued by the local
chief executives may take effect in the
cancellation of classes if there are
yellow rain fall warning, flood, and
typhoon.

In case of flood, classes are

automatically canceled even without
orders.

If flood occur when classes already

began, school may cancel classes.
However, if travelling will be risky,
the school are obliged to keep the
children safe.

School heads have the power to cancel

classes depending on their assessment
of the situations in their respective
schools.

In case of power outage/interruptions

which may cause poor interactions in
class, the school head may cancel
classes on the particular class or grade
level.
Learners who missed learning
activities due to natural calamities,
accidents, etc, shall be accorded due
consideration in their attendance and
the completion of their learning tasks.

Schools may be used as evacuation

centers but not for a long period of
time or more than 15 days.

RM 543, s. 2022 Acquisition of

Learning Resources and other Needed
Devices and Equipment as Well as
Funding Relevant Programs, Projects,
and Activities in the Implementation of
Basic Education
Shall be considered in the distribution
of tablets and other learning resources
to students.
Issues and Concerns of Election of PTA Federation shall be

School Heads were reminded on the

Submission of Brigada
Accomplishment Report.

Radar for the Natural Calamities

Report on the damages of School Sites
shall be accomplished. Detailed
Pictures of the Damages caused by
Typhoon Karding shall be submitted.

Youth Formation and Development

Section encourages schools to
maximize vacant area of the school for
Gulayan sa Paaralan Implementation.

Schools are reminded to be vigilant on

the establishment of organizations on
the school such as fraternities and
sororities.
Three secondary schools with Eduardo P. Ducha, EPSvr-
functional computer laboratories shall Science
be chosen to participate on the regional
assessment for grade 7 with 30
participants ( RM 492, s. 2022).
List of learners shall be submitted on
October 11 to the SDO.

Intervention Programs on the Least

advised not sign completion of work
unless the program was really

Technical assistance shall be provided
