Self-reliance and allowing students to pursue their interests independently while following to

tight rules are the teacher's ways for dealing with her class. Regardless of their academic
standing in the class high achievers or low performers she treated all of her students equally.

1) Recall the time when you were in elementary or high school. Recall the high and low
achievers in your class. How did your teacher deal with differences in abilities? Was your
teacher effective?

High achievers and low achievers were noticeable to me in high school. Males are more likely to
perform poorly than females do on academic assessments. Our teacher will place high
performers in each group when we divide into groups in order for the students who do poorly
to be able to keep up with the teachings. The student group is balanced, thus this is also fair
(high and low achievers are grouped together). She will simply call on those bright students to
respond when a challenging question is posed, leaving the underachievers silent and inactive.
On top of that, there are occasions when the smart students would tutor the slower learners.

1) What dispositions and traits will you need as a future teacher to meet the needs
of the learners?

To meet the requirements of my students as a future teacher, I will require the


following character characteristics and dispositions:

It is expected that I will be managing a class of students with a range of abilities.

Continuous innovation and brainstorming of efficient methods and approaches for


dealing with students of various capacities.

Effective communication is necessary to build relationships with students and to show


them that you care about them.

A strong emphasis on teamwork and the conviction that this is superior to letting
students study on their own.

Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic setting.

A sympathetic educator who is aware of the needs, interests, and backgrounds of her
students.

1. Does the school of belonging to one’s ancestral domain, a deep understanding of
the community’s beliefs and practices. Cite examples.

Yes, because Tugdaan’s teachings are based on the traditions, customs, and expertise of their IP
Group. For instance, in agriculture, teachers impart to students all the information they require
while adding IP and cultural knowledge.

2. Does school show respect of the communities expression of spirituality? How?

Yes, given that each IP group at this school respects the customs and values of the others.

3. Does school the indigenous learners,a deep appreciation of their identity.


How?

Yes, every child walks the 20 minutes to Subsub once a week, accompanied by their teachers,
parents, elders, and other community members. The community donated a four-hectare area
of land for sustainable agriculture for the school.

4. Does the curriculum, teach skills and competencies in the indigenous learners
that will help them develop and protect their ancestral domain and culture?

Yes, even though Tugdaan may appear to be just another high school and its curriculum does
include all the standard academic courses, it also offers an additional four subjects.
5. Does the curriculum only new concepts and competencies to the life experience
of the community?

Yes, there is a connection between new concepts and abilities and communal experiences,
particularly in relation to agriculture.

6. Do the teaching strategies help strengthen enrich

Yes, it helps them since they study the theory’s practical application in addition to the theory.

The the voice’s tone can catch the learner in and encourage engagement with the teacher and
topic. One of the most important aspects of effective classroom management is a teacher’s
moderate tone and clear voice. To ensure that every student pays attention and listens actively
during class discussions, the teacher’s voice should be loud and clear enough to be heard
throughout the entire classroom when giving instructions.

The teacher’s punctuality and behavior reflect on the students because if the students can see
that their teacher is on time, they will do their best to imitate such behavior. However, if
teachers consistently arrive late and exhibit laziness in the classroom, it will have a bad impact
on management and discipline.

students, we need to check on the physical aspects of classroom management. Having the best
of these physical classroom aspects in the learning environment would assure the class’s safety

Effective classroom management is necessary for any amount of good instruction to be


successful. If a teacher in a particular classroom lacks this skill, they will also be unable
to create and deliver any effective instruction, which can sometimes result in the
students’ failure to learn.

2. What are your plans in ensuring effective classroom management?


First and foremost, we must ensure that the classroom is managed effectively. To do this, we
must have all the traits of a good teacher and have mastered all the individual classroom
management components, such as personal hygiene, punctuality, and so forth. Additionally, be
sure that the physical management of the classroom is in order, including proper lighting,
ventilation, and workspaces.
1. The Resource Teacher used a variety of tactics, and these strategies did improve
classroom management. Because, in accordance with our resource teacher, if you act as
an example to your kids and treat them with respect and authority, you will eventually
succeed in using these classroom management techniques successfully.

Answer:
Yes, given what I’ve observed about how the teacher handled her students’ active participation
in a discussion and how successfully she delivered the lectures. It is impossible to plan a class
without lessons, but from what I’ve seen, everything seems to be quite well-organized.

3.Can you describe the disposition of the teacher after the lesson was taught? Happy andeager?
Satisfied and contented? Disappointed and exhausted?

Answer:
I can tell that the teacher is happy and satisfied with the session because she delivered the
material very successfully and because the students were satisfied with the discussion, there
were no further questions at the end of the lesson.

4.Can you describe the majority of student’s reactions after the lesson was taught?Confused?
Happy and eager? Contented? No reactions at all.

Answer:
The majority of students are content and happy because their teacher exhibits a great level of
tolerance and understanding and acknowledges each of their responses, even if they don’t
always make sense in terms of the question. This inspires students and increases their self-
confidence.

My personal list of qualities that a great teacher should have includes risk-taking, making
themselves humble in front of students, excellent communication abilities, and listening skills.

- For a teacher to be great, it is not enough to possess the professional competencies but also
the personal qualities of teachers. More than any other profession, teachers are subjected to
minute inspection and observation by those with whom they interact. Teachers are held to a
higher standard than other professions. The impressions they make on learners and coworkers
are determined by the personality they project. Their poise, bearing and manner of dressing
create a stunning and attractive appearance. Their facial expression communicates a friendly
and amiable disposition.
