Statement of the problem

Generally, this study aimed to determine the extent of awareness on the social and physical
advantage of playing outdoor games among grade 12 TVL student of Calaca Senior High
School.

Specifically, it sought answer to the following question:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents:

In terms of:

1.1. Age

1.2. Gender

1.3. Track/ strand

2. What outdoor games more being played by the student?

3. How aware were the respondent as regards with playing outdoor games as to its:

3.1. social advantage

3.2 physical advantage

4. What plan of action may be proposed to maximized student engagement on playing outdoor
games?
Definition of Terms

In order to enable between understanding of the student the following terminologies


were operationally defined.

Awareness- It refers on the state or ability to perceive, to feel or to be consciousness of


events objects or sensory patterns.

Extent- It refers the range or distance or space the covered or affected of our research
study.

Outdoor games- It refers a game which are played in open environment

Social advantage- It refers the benefits sociality from creating or using an item or service is
referred to as social benefits.

Physical advantage- It refers the meaning of being physically fit and physically healthy than
others.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

SCOPE

The research student will focus on the extent of awareness on the social and physical
advantage of playing outdoor games among grade 12 TVL student of Calaca Senior High
School. It will be concerned on identifying the profile of the student as regarding to their age,
gender year level and track. More over the student will also try of determine. What outdoor
games more being played by the student and how aware we're the respondents as regard
with playing outdoor games as to its social and physical advantage. Lastly how to maximize
student engagement on playing outdoor games.

DELIMITATION

The study will be limited only the selected honor student who are grade 12 TVL students
of Calaca Senior High School. It will be in tilted to analysis in interpret the findings based on
the response of the respondent to the items raised in the questionnaire.
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

The major concept of this study is focused on factor affecting Grade 12 TVL students
based on The Extent of Awareness on the Social and Physical Advantages of playing outdoor
games.

Figure 1. Shows the relationship of input variables which contain the Social Advantages
and Physical Advantages of playing outdoor games. While in process contains the survey,
data gathering, data analysis and data interpretation. And output variables contain the
analysis and of social and physical advantages of playing outdoor games.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This research study will be prominent is a coving knowledge about the benefits of
playing outdoor games.

The result of the study will benefit the following.

To the student. Playing outdoor games are help students to reduce stress to strengthen
in community to avoid diseases and develop social interaction.

To the parents. When their children don't get sick then have financial problems and they
don't worry if their children are healthy, they are also happy to see that their children have many
friends.

To the teachers. If his student is disciplined, I do not have illnesses it will make it easier
for teachers to teach in property.

To the future researcher. This will help them to have an example or basic when they do
their own research topic.
INTRODUCTION OR BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The goal of this study is to show un appreciative the benefits of playing outdoor games. It
helps to strengthen our resistance it helps us to be tired for a long time in any kind of games.
Playing of outside our help us to avoid diseases and to reduce stress. It has a lot of help to
social interacting free to have many friends on our society in the day to boost our self-
confidence. There many benefits include improving the health and well-being of individuals
contributing to the empowerment of individuals in promoting the development of inclusive
communities.

The students who are playing outside gain self-esteem and confident everything they do
outside and inside of school. They can focus more on school activities with the help of their
creativity. Even though there is a lot of school work they don't feel too much stress and
depression because when they're go outside after schooling, they always have something to
entertain them in their free time.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), those who play outside our more
active in class than those who play online games because they have many friends on the
society. They become more active in their daily lives because they can still able to exercise. It
can also help then stay healthy as they grow.

The main purpose of this study is to determine the exact number of Grade 12 student on
Calaca Senior High School who play outdoor games and then hopefully and the end of this
study research many purposes same plan to our students to social and physical advantage to
become active on outdoor games.
