(Lepto) is a serious
bacterial disease
that infects dogs,
humans and other
animals. Exposure occurs in the
environment from contaminated water,
food, soil, or vegetation. Lepto enters
through the tissue of the mouth or injured
skin. It is transmitted through an infected
animal’s urine and can be transmitted to
humans.
Group Activity
Materials: Construction paper (cover page),
bond paper, marker, stapler, glue, scissors and
pencil.
Instructions: Make a Booklet containing the
diseases that are contagious and not-contagious.
1. List examples of communicable diseases.
2. Write on the form the details that are asked.
3. Choose one (1) disease that you want to focus.
4. Arrange the disease in alphabetical order.
5. Use stapler to bind it to make it a booklet.
6. Put a table of contents.
7. Put a cover page using the construction paper.
8. Design your booklet before showing it to the
class.
