1. Storage and retrieval are among the key features of DBMS. Why are they
important?

2. Distinguish between data, information and knowledge. Which one is stored in the
database?

3. What are the problems associated with file systems? How do they challenge the
types of information that can be created from the data as well as the accuracy of
the information?

4. Answer the following questions :
