I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards
 The learners demonstrate understanding of lifestyle and weight management to promote societal fitness.
B. Performance Standards
 The learners maintain an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity participation of the community
and society.
 Practice healthy eating habits that support an active lifestyle.
C. Learning Competencies
 PE10PF-IVah-41 (Engages in moderate to vigorous physical activities for at least 60 minutes a day in and
out of school.)
D. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
Knowledge: identify/name the basic hand movements and positions in cheerdance;
Skills: choreograph a cheerdance routine using the basic hand movements and positions in
cheerdance,

Attitude: improve awareness on the contribution of cheerdance to fitness. `

Now, that you have learned already the basic hand


movements in cheerdance, it’s about time to create your
own cheerdance routine in five minutes guided with the
basic hand movements which I have demonstrated to you
earlier. With the same groups, you have to choose at least 5
basic hand movements in your own choreographed 1-2
minute/s cheerdance routine. And for you to be motivated on
your activity, your performance will be guided with the
following rubrics.
