    Rnd 1: Begin with a magic ring and work 6 sc into the ring. End with a sl st. (6)

    Rnd 2: Ch 1. Work 2 sc in each st. End with a sl st. (12)

    Rnd 3: Ch 1. Work *sc, (2sc in the next st)* Repeat * to * to the end of the rnd. End with a sl st. (18)

    Attaching the leather straps:
    Trim the leather straps to 3” & 3 ½” (8 & 9 cm) lengths. Punch a hole in both ends with a leather
    punch. Fold the pieces over the edge of the basket and secure with a rivet.
