    bodies that regulate the Philippine land, air, and water transportation industry. (10 items x 2
    points ).

    ANSWERS:
    1) Philippine National Railways are responsible in constructing, operation, and maintaining
    the nationwide railway system. They are also responsible for providing Filipino
    commuters with affordable, sustainable, safe, efficient, and reliable train services as a
    socioeconomic development instrument.

    2) Civil Aeronautics Board a agent that are the one who communicating in oversees
    therefore their function is to regulate the economic aspect of air transportation, and
    shall have the general supervision, control and jurisdiction over air carriers. They also
    responsible for general sales agents for partnership, cargo sales agent, and air freight
    forwarders as well as their property.

    3) Light Rail Transit Authority railways agency aside of PNR this agency is responsible also
    in construction, operation, maintenance. They are more focus in light rail transit systems
    in the Philippines.

    4) Philippine Ports Authority are responsible in supervise, control, regulate, construct,


    maintain, operate, and provide such facilities or services that necessary for our
    Philippines ports to give them development. By promote integrity, accountability, proper
    management of public affairs and public property as well as to establish effective
    practices aimed at the prevention of graft and corruption in government.

    5) Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines are responsible for safety regulation of all
    aspects of civil aviation, including the licensing of personnel and the certification of
    aircraft, airlines, airports. Their most important function is they are responsible in
    maintaining the air traffic control.

    6) International Air Travel Association are responsible in facilitates the growth of civil
    aviation and cuts airline costs by creating a better regulatory and business environment
    for our member airlines. To provide a innovation driving a safe, secure and profitable air
    transport industry that sustainably connects and enriches the world.
    7) Toll Regulatory Authority are responsible in supervision, monitoring, and regulation of
    the construction, operation, and maintenance of toll facilities. The collection of toll fees
    as well as the rate that may be charged for the use of these facilities.

    8) Maritime Industry Authority also known as MARINA are responsible for issuing licenses
    and permits, enforcing maritime laws and regulations, and overseeing the construction
    and repair of ships. The agency also provides training for maritime personnel and
    conducts research on maritime transportation and safety.

    9) Department of Transportation are responsible in develops, promotes, implements and


    maintains integrated and strategic transportation. Implementing communications
    systems that will ensure safe, reliable, responsive, and viable services to accelerate
    economic development and to better serve the transport.

    10) International Civil Aviation Organization are responsible in creates regulations for civil
    aviation safety, security, efficiency and regularity and environmental protection. The
    organization also regulates operating practices and procedures covering the technical
    field of aviation but the different of this organization in IATA its core function which is to
    maintain an administrative and expert bureaucracy.
