II. Functional Features, Prototype Models and Differences
2.1 Functional Features
1. With no electric power needed, it can be powered by connecting to a solar panel or storage battery of
a certain specification;
2. The cabinet temperature is kept within +2℃~+8℃, and the freezer temperature of HTCD – 160 is <
-5℃;
3. Ultra-long heat preservation time;
4. Suitable for ambient temperature of +5℃~+43℃;
5. It contains the heating wire, preventing the temperature from being too low;
6. It contains overheating protection of heating wire, preventing temperature control failure;
6. With PCM heat storage material, it ensures more even cabinet temperature;
7. Patented technology of new closed pipe cold conduction, ensuring more even cabinet temperature.
2.2.1 Differences between products before and after improvement (HTC –60H is an improved
product of HTC - 60)
1. The improved product HTC – 60H can adapt to wider ambient temperature scope: 5-43℃.
2. Prototype HTC - 60 adopts the built-in condenser, and this model adopts back condenser with higher
efficiency;
3. The solar panel cables of prototype HTC - 60 connect directly to the switch with plug terminals
(without error prevention), while the electric cabinet of this model has solar panel cables with terminals
as connectors;
4. Thermal insulation board is incorporated in this new model, ensuring longer heat preservation time
after power off;
5. Heat storage box is incorporated in this new model, which can prevent over temperature in the cabinet
due to excessive heating at low temperature.
2.2.2 HTCD - 160 is a new product with vertical refrigerator and freezer.

VIII. Guide to Assembly and Disassembly of Main Parts
8.1 Precaution of Disassembly and Assembly
Always remember to unplug the product before disassembly and assembly;
Install the parts in the reverse order of disassembly; parts should be installed in the original place of the
product.
8.2 Guide to Assembly and Disassembly of Main Parts
Replacement of the compressor

E-box Fixed bolt x4 Air return Air venting Process pipe

Please follow the following steps for replacement of faulty compressor:

1. Remove the plug from the compressor accessory (E - box);
2. Drain the refrigerant in the refrigeration system through the process pipe (kept away from fire source);
3. After the refrigerant is drained, burn the vent-pipe of the air return box with a welding gun (or wash the
system with nitrogen, and burn the pipeline with a welding gun if necessary);
4. Remove the fixing screws of compressor with a 10 mm open spanner (4 screws);
5. Replace the compressor with a new one and fix it, and then connect the pipeline properly according to
the original way;
6. Replace the process pipe with a new one, pump air out of the system (at the pressure under 3p), and
add 45g (+2g/0) of refrigerant 600a, again.
7. Seal the mouth of the process pipe.
Attention:
1. Due to the strict requirement for moisture content in the system, each pipe opening should be sealed
immediately with adhesive tape to prevent moisture in the air from entering the system and all open
pipes should be welded completely in 10 minutes;
2. Before welding the pipeline, make sure the refrigerant in the system has been drained, and is kept
away from open flame, especially during oil mist spraying, to prevent fire and explosion. Keep good
ventilation because the refrigerant R600a used in the product is flammable and explosive .

15
Replacement of the condenser fan (HTC-60H)

Please follow the following steps for replacement of a faulty condenser fan:
1.Remove the power plug of the condenser fan;
2. Remove the two fixing screws of the support;
3. Then remove the four fixing screws of the condenser fan;
4. Remove the condenser fan, install a new one.
Note: please pay attention to the wind direction of the condenser fan.
Replacement of the inner fan (HTC-60H)

Please follow the steps below for replacement of a faulty inner fan:
1.Remove the four screws of the fan cover, and remove the fan cover.
2. Then remove the two fixing screws of the inner fan, disconnect the wire and remove the fan.
3. Install the new fan in accordance with the way used for the original one, and connect the fan wire.
Note: please pay attention to the wind direction of the fan.

16
Replacement of the auxiliary battery (HTC-60H)

Correct wiring, red wire to anode,

black wire to cathode

Note: turn off the switch and take out the 3A fuse before replacing the auxiliary battery avoid
blowout.
The auxiliary battery should meet the following conditions: discharge of 10 Ah/12 V for 2000
cycles at the level of 80%. Terminal specification is 6.3 mm.
Auxiliary battery dimensions: length x width x height = 151 x 99 x 94.5 mm.
1. Remove the screws of the battery bracket;
2. Take out the battery and disconnect the battery wires;
3. Fix the battery, and connect the wires in the correct way (red wire to anode, black wire to cathode).
Replacement of 3A fuse (HTC-60H)

Fuse

The 3A fuse is in the electrical cabinet on the back of the refrigerator, the detailed replacement steps are
as follows:
1. Open the rear cover of the electric cabinet;
2. Remove the silicone sheath outside of the fuse;
3. Remove the faulty fuse;

17
4. Replace the fuse with a new one, mount the silicon sheath, and install the cover plate of electric
cabinet.
Replacement of the 15A fuse (in the electrical control box):
The rated current is 15A. The fuse is in the electrical cabinet on the back of the refrigerator. The specific
replacement procedures:

Size of Fuse Appearance of Fuses

1.Open the electrical box cover;
2.Remove the fuse protective shell;
3.Remove the damaged fuse, re-plugged in a new fuse, and fix the protective shell and electric control
box cover.
