Join Your Neighbors for the Redwood Shores Cleanup on Saturday, August 26, 2023
Since 1999, the Redwood Shores Community
Association (RSCA) has organized the Annual Levee Cleanup Event Details
Levee Cleanup to beautify miles of levees and
surrounding areas in the Shores. Saturday, August 26, 2023
Meet at: Mariner Park, Redwood Shores, CA 94065
Volunteers work in groups and are assigned to
(Bridge Parkway at Tiller Lane)
clean up areas with a map to guide them. Adults
and children are all welcome and encouraged to
participate in this event. Each group handles 8:00 AM: Fuel up with breakfast bars
their area at their own pace. 8:30 AM: Clean up the Shores
Recology will provide the carts and bins, and (qualifies for Community Service credit)
Redwood City Public Works will provide 10:30–11:30 AM: Bring back bags of trash to Mariner
gloves, plastic bags and trash grabbers.

The weather finally warmed up in time for the June team tennis
tournament on the 17th. Four teams competed: Red, Blue,
Green and Gold, captained by Steve George, Amanda Chen,
Monique Seibel and Angela Yang respectively. As usual there
were five rounds of 8-game sets and the competition was intense, PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
with most people playing at least four sets. Scores were Art Salon
