Objective of Mock Drill First-Aid (Electric Shock)

 To check the promptness and effectiveness of the emergency system and participation of
general workmen in providing the aids and help to the rescue team

Expected Response
We expect workmen to be very prompt in raising the alarm and calling the emergency response team and
participate in emergency and assemble at assembly point following the emergency guide line

Occurrence Sequence

1 Workmen Name Mr. Rajesh got fainted due to electrocution at 08.26 AM

It was first identified by the sub contractor Forman M/s Yamin enterprises who was standing at

pump house

After that he immediately informed to site Supervisor Mr. Subhankar and told him about the

incident

Mr. Subhankar immediately reached at the location at 08.25 AM and informed to the safety
4
Dept., Admin Dept. and Electrical Dept. for Help

The site team and other staff reached on the spot at 08.26 Am. At the same time Mr ritesh
5
(safety Asst. ) called the ambulance

The electrician disconnects the power supply and victim was carried to open space. CPR was
6
given to victim till the arrival of ambulance, so that the victim breathing won’t be arrested.

8 Ambulance along with the first Aider reached the incident spot at 08.30 Am.

9 There after rescue team shifted victim to ambulance with the help of stretcher.

10 There after ambulance left the location at 08.37 PM to Tie up HOSPITAL.

Total time noted from the acknowledgement of the incident by 1st witness to the approach to

Hospital was 30 minute.

12 Lastly – Never Ever Ignore a Alarm

Observations & Recommendations Action By


It was observed that response of all rescue team was very good. But
condition of site Road /access is not up to the mark, road surface found
unequal and material was scattered on the access. Mr. Chandrasekhar

At last meeting regarding this mock drill imparted to all local area
worker with execution staff.
