Candidates, full tuition fees is waived off.

* For applicants whose documents are verified by the Admission Committee, the option to pay online fees
will be available on the Admission portal as mentioned in the table above.

The list is provisional admission list and will be subjected to verification of requisite documents at the time
of physical verification of documents. Offer may be withdrawn in case it is found that any information
provided is incorrect upto the last date of physical verification of documents and will be offered to the
next candidate as per merit.

The applicants can pay their fees online through available payment modes by signing in at admission portal.
Candidates are required to provide following below mentioned self-attested documents/certificates at the time
of physical verification of documents as per the stipulated date and time as mentioned above (Original
documents must be presented for verification):
i. Mark sheet, provisional certificate and passing certificate of the qualifying examination i.e. Graduation
or equivalent, proof of CGPA to Percentage Conversion (if applicable).
ii. Class Xth Certificate in support of Date of Birth proof.
iii. Candidates are required to bring latest category certificate issued after 31st March 2022 by the
Competent Authority for claiming reservation category seats
(SC/ST/OBC/Defence/EWS/SGC/KM/PwBD).
iv. Copy of the Application form/Admit Card/Interview Call letter (any one of them)
v. Two latest passport size photographs
vi. Aadhaar card/ Domicile certificate / Address proof/Passport copy/ Voter ID Card (any one of them)

viii. Migration Certificate (in Original) [Those who had not received from their university/college, extra 15
days will be given to the candidates to submit the same on the basis of declaration submitted by the
candidate]
ix. EWS certificate issued by the Competent Authority as notified by Govt. of India (for those who have

x. Reservation Category/Caste Certificate (where applicable). Only OBC Non Creamy Layer certificates
issued by the Competent Authority of NCT of Delhi will be accepted. Please refer to the Admission

Admission will be permissible to qualified candidates in any programme in the following conditions: -
(a) If qualifying examination is passed from Delhi and Reservation certificate issued from Delhi for
SC/ST/OBC categories, then admission is permissible under NCT Reserved category.
(b) If qualifying examination is passed from Outside Delhi and Reservation certificate issued from
anywhere in India, including Delhi for SC/ST categories, then admission is permissible under ONCT
Reserved category.
(C) If qualifying examination is passed from Delhi and Reservation certificate issued from Outside Delhi
for SC/ST/OBC categories, then admission is permissible only under NCT Unreserved category.
xi. Anti-ragging affidavit in Stamp Paper. All applicants are required to submit a signed affidavit as detailed

xiii. Applicant availing seats under Defence/ Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)/Single Girl

Note: The names on the certificates, graduation mark sheet and caste certificate should be exactly same;
otherwise an affidavit for the same has to be produced at the time of physical verification of documents.

All the candidates who are provisionally offered admission are requested to report to the Kashmere Gate
campus for document verification and online payment of Fees. The candidates are requested to report at:

General Instructions:
1. This list is a Provisional Merit List. If further seat remains vacant, further provisional list will be
announced. Interested candidates are requested to check the website for the latest updates.

 2. Calling of the applicants for document verification shall not be construed as entitlement for
admission. In case, an applicant fails to produce the requisite documents at the time of physical
verification of documents and payment of fees is not done within the prescribed time limit as
mentioned, the seat will be offered to the next applicant in the merit list as per his/ her eligible
category.
3. All applicants listed in the list are requested to keep visiting the University website, PG Admissions
page for updates on a day to day basis.
4. Admissions will be offered strictly by merit in the order of the total marks obtained in Entrance Test &
Interview.

5. Applicants called as per the first provisional admission list, who fail to produce the requisite
documents at the time of physical verification of documents or payment of fee is not done within the
prescribed time limit, will not be considered in the subsequent list.
6. The applicant will be admitted to the programme on the basis of the merit list, eligibility criteria and
availability of seats in each programme.
7. Those applicants whose caste certificates for reservation benefits
(SC/ST/OBC/Defence/EWS/SGC/KM/PwBD) are not in order as mentioned in the Admission Brochure
and Information available on PG Admission page and his/her name appears in the provisional
admission list, needs to produce the necessary certificate(s) (only reservation certificate) at the time
of physical verification of documents as per the timeline mentioned.

8. Physical verification of all documents will be done in stipulated time mentioned above. The
candidature of all applicants will be verified physically as mentioned in the Admission Brochure and
Information available on PG Admission page. In case, it is found at any stage of admission that the
applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and any information/document provided by the
applicant is found to be false or is not in conformity with the eligibility criteria mentioned in the
Admission Brochure and Information available on PG Admission page including Age, Caste Category,
Sub-Category, Educational Qualification, etc. the candidature of such an applicant will summarily be
rejected at any stage of admission process and even after admissions.

9. It is extremely important that applicants pay the fee within the timeframe allocated, failing which it
will be concluded that the applicant is not interested in the programme applied and the admission will
be automatically cancelled. For Economical Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates whose name appears in
the provisional admission list and want to apply for fee waiver on the basis of their family annual
income, required to apply separately to the admission committee for necessary fee waiver within the
stipulated time given for physical verification of documents and subsequent date of payment of fees.
10. The procedure for producing the requisite documents by the applicant must be completed within the
stipulated time interval as notified in the provisional admission list, failing which you will lose your
opportunity for admissions in the Dr B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi. It is the responsibility of the
applicant to check if the documents are correct at the time of physical verification of documents,
otherwise application will be rejected.

 11. With reference to the clause mentioned in the Admission Brochure and Information available on PG
Admission page, it may be noted that "The merit list is drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the
Entrance Exam and Interview as specified in the minimum eligibility criteria as per the programme. In
case of the same score, then, for deciding merit, date of birth will be considered; the candidate older in
age will be treated higher in merit."
12. Any vacant seats arising subsequently due to withdrawal / cancellation of admission in the respective
categories will be given to the next candidate as per merit in that category. All applicants are requested
to keep visiting University website PG Admission Page notifications regularly as subsequent provisional
list (if any) will be notified on the website only.
13. In the admission process, the vacant seats in the respective category (OBC/SC/ST/PwBD/Defence) will
be converted as OBC to Unreserved (UR), SC to ST & vice-versa, and horizontal reservation seats
(PwBD/Defence) to its main category, in their respective NCT & ONCT regions as per the University
rules & will then be allotted accordingly.

The applicants whose names are given in the provisional admission list as below in the order of merit are
hereby called for admission to MA Film Studies Programme for the session 2022-23 at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
University Delhi. The merit has been determined on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Exam and
Interview.
