At the end of the 45 minute lesson, the student shall be able to:
1. Sequence the events in the story.
2. Explain the importance of eating the right kind of food.
3. Sing and dance the “The Hungry Caterpillar” song
4. Name the objects that starts with Letter Cc
II. Subject Matter

Story: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
Materials: Visual Aids, cartolina strips for unlocking words, pictures,
charts and speaker.

- Our story for today is “The Very
Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle
In the light of the moon, a little egg

lay on a leaf.
One Sunday morning the warm sun
came up and –pop!
Out of the egg came a tiny and very
hungry caterpillar.
He started to look for some food.

On Monday he ate through one
apple.
But he was still hungry.
On Tuesday he ate through two
pears.
On Wednesday he ate through three
plums.
On Thursday he ate through four
strawberries.
On Friday he ate through five
oranges.
On Saturday he ate through one
piece of chocolate cake, one ice
cream cone, one pickle, one slice of
swiss cheese, one slice of salami,
one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie,
one sausage, one cupcake and one
slice of watermelon. -tiny caterpillar
That night he had a stomachache!
-he eat.
The next day was Sunday again.
The caterpillar ate through one nice - one apple
green leaf, and after that he felt - two pears
much better. - three plums
Now he wasn’t hungry anymore – - four strawberries
and he wasn’t a little caterpillar - five oranges
anymore. - one piece of chocolate cake, one
