During the industrial visit , as a student I learnt about the raw material quality analysis, recipe preparation, molding and baking conditions of Parle-G buiscuit. Also there were new methods to learn about like implementations, automated packing systems and hygienic practices adopted in the workspace of the factory. The industrial expert explained the types of biscuits prepared in their unit and how they analyse for quality and sensory attributes by internal and eternal experts. They also shared their placement possibilities at their unit. The company as been doing production sice 1934.
There are 130 workers in the company who work day and night . There are 120 factories. Parle is giving raw materials and the company does the production work.
The steps in making a biscuit are :
1. Raw material checking 2. Mixing 3. Molding 4. Baking 5. Cooling 6. Packing 7. Dispatch Every month their will be auditing and the higher authorities will give ranking according to the maintenance of the company recording of transactions and all. They have been given a 49 grade.
Every worker as given their own individual
responsibility like cleaning of walls, windows, fans, pallets, syrup storage tank, sugar bags room, floor, blower and so on by the co workers. Knowing new things was knowledgable and the way the instructor explains the steps and mode of working was understandable.
