Section 4 - First Aid Measures


In case of accidental ignition treat for burns and shock. In case of burns, immediately cool the affected area for as long as necessary
with cold water. Seek immediate medical help.

INHALATION :
Remove to fresh air and see a medical doctor. Give oxygen or artificial respiration if needed.
SKIN CONTACT :
Wash with soap and water. Contact a medical doctor.
EYE CONTACT :
Flush immediately with running water for at least 15 minutes. And see a medical doctor.
INGESTION :
See immediately a medical doctor.

Section 5 - Fire-Fighting Measures


Burning Rate :The article burns up in milliseconds
Autoignition Temperature : 200 °C (DSC), 170 °C (Krupp method)
Fire-Fighting Instructions :
In the event of fire evacuate the immediate area. Burning of large quantities may accelerate to explosion! Inform the emergency
services of the nature of the product.

Section 6 - Accidental Release Measures


Spill /Leak Procedures :
In the event of spillage, the area should be immediately cordoned off to prevent damage to the gas generants. They may be
recovered by hand and should be inspected for signs of damage prior to re-packing. Suspect or damaged Micro Gas Generator
should be labeled and consigned for appropriate destruction.

Section 7 - Handling and Storage


Operation conditions :
Handle with care and avoid any accidental initiation by stray electric currents, electrostatic discharge, flame or other severe
treatment (see Conditions to Avoid). Keep safety requirements.
Storage Requirements :
Store in approved magazines only. Storage and handling must conform to appropriate statutory and legislation laws and
requirements. Store in dry conditions, at common temperatures.

Conductive floor. Wear clothes made of cotton fabrics, safety glasses (goggles), conductive shoes and grounded wristband.

drinking, smoking, using the toilet, or applying cosmetics.

Stability :
Micro Gas Generator Type NKPL-2 is stable at room temperature in closed containers under normal storage and handling
conditions.
Polymerization :
Hazardous polymerization cannot occur.
Chemical Incompatibilities :
Avoid strong acids, bases, oxidizers, high heat, any electrical currents, and impact. Do not mix with any other igniter material
before determining the hazards and taking the proper safety precautions.

Conditions to Avoid :
Shock, impact, friction, electrostatic discharge, high temperature, open flame, contamination.

Hazardous Decomposition Products :


Hot gases, fragments and extreme heat will be emitted by large quantities of igniters during their combustion, deflagration,
detonation or chemical reaction.

Toxicity Data :
Toxicity of electric belt pretensioner is negligible at normal conditions. On initiation small amount of toxic fumes will be released.
