Jim, the Super Boy

Jim dreams of becoming a super hero. One day he dreamt
that he has a job. He will fly the jet with friends as his
passengers. Oh, no! The jet cannot go! It cannot fly in the
fog. Help! Help! Can anyone help? Suddenly he turned into
a super hero ready to fly. He carried the jet in his back and
land right in front of their house. His friends were happy.
They danced with joy. When his mother called him “Jim
wake up! It’s time to answer your module. I am here to
guide you”. Yes, mother. Jim answered and went back to
his table to study again. What a super boy I was in my
dream!

Care Heals
Ren, Tem and Zen ran in the White Beach of Poctoy. But Ren
stumbled and fell. Ren stood up and shook. Then he felt it.
“I cut my foot!” he said. Tem and Zen took a look. Zen said, “That
does not look fine. Let’s call Tatay Temyo and Nanay Remy.”
Tatay Temyo and Nanay Remy also took a look at Ren’s foot. It
had a deep cut in it.
Tatay Temyo said, “That does not look good.” “We need a
doctor’s help,” Nanay Remy said.
 Dr. Uy took a look. “Ren needs stitches,” he said. “And he also
needs medicine and a lot of rest. Keep him at home. He cannot
run and play.”
Ren was very sad. He did not want to rest, but his foot felt bad.
Tem and Zen petted him. They hugged him. They even prepared
merienda for him.
“Cheer up, Ren! Nanay Remy said. “I know you want to run and
play. But we can still have fun. We can read a story!”
So Nanay Remy read one of Ren’s favorite story. Ren’s foot even
felt a little better. He knew that it was his family’s care that made
him feel better.

children what they will have for snacks. She unpacked her basket

and told them that she will make avocado shake for them.

“Oh! No! The avocados she bought are still unripe”. The girls felt

sad. After a while Aya went outside and got Madre Cacao leaves

in front of their house. “Don’t worry sisters. In just a couple of days

we can have our avocado shake because of this. For now, let’s

have other snacks”, said Aya. Mother smiled at them.

Going to Maniwaya

After months of lock down in Buyabod, Bea and her family go

back home to Maniwaya, Santa Cruz, Marinduque. They wait for

the boat in Buyabod Pier. While waiting in the dock, she wears her

favorite hat given by her ninang. There comes the boat. Yes!

When the boat arrived at the dock, one by one they proceeded

in the boat through a narrow wood lumber as path when her hat

was blown to the sea by the strong wind.

“Oh, no! Please get my hat”, cried Bea. Kuya Balat, the driver of

the boat, got the hat immediately by swimming in the water.

“Thank you Kuya!”, Bea exclaimed with joy when Kuya Balat

handed in her favorite hat.
