Mechanical Vacuum Booster

EVEREST Mechanical Vacuum Boosters are built in two major configurations. The LIP SEAL
and the SEAL LESS design. Both types become ideal for use as a booster pump to the backup in
combination to boost the performance of the backup/ fore pump.

These Boosters are positive displacement machines which work on a unique characteristic to
generate a Bell-Shaped pumping speed curve, unique to their design & characteristic. The high
suction/displacement generated by them & ability to be mounted on any type of backup pumps
makes them unique and a preferred choice of pump for use in a vast variety of applications.

SuperScrew | (Dry Screw vacuum Pump)

EVEREST SUPERSCREW Dry Screw Vacuum Pump comes in three configurations, STD, CX
(Corrosive Applications), CL (Clean Applications). These pumps are amongst the latest
technologies available in the market offering completely dry & clean vacuum as no sealing fluid is
used to generate vacuum. Everest manufactures Generation-3, hybrid variable pitch Dry Screw
Vacuum pumps which are about 30% more power efficient than the previous generations. These
pumps have excellent vapour & liquid handling capacity and are based on the principle of positive
displacement thereby offering consistent and stable vacuum to all critical processes. Since these
pumps are completely Dry, they are extremely environmentally friendly with near to zero
discharge of any effluent/ contamination.

EVEREST SUPERVAC are complete engineered dry vacuum packages consisting of Mechanical
Vacuum Booster & Dry Screw Vacuum Pump along with a combination of allied accessories specific to
industry and application. These systems are becoming very popular in various applications where
customers' requirements are for Clean, Oil-Free Vacuum. The process vapor passes through the pumps
without any contamination and is collected at the discharge of the system by a vent condenser thereby
offering the customer a very efficient vapor recovery management to build an environment-friendly
vacuum ecosystem. SuperVac typically has a single Mechanical Vacuum Booster however in some cases
multiple stages are also used. The Pump and Booster are both the latest in technology dry pumps offering
to our customer's high volumetric efficiency coupled with lower per/m3 consumed KW which results

OilSyst Vacuum System

EVEREST OILSYST is an engineered vacuum package consisting of two/three stages Mechanical
Vacuum Booster combination along with a specially modified Liquid Ring Vacuum pump to be
used typically in Oil Re-Refining applications wherein heavy process carryover is carried into the
backup pump. The Liquid Ring Pumps used in an OILSYST have been specially modified to handle
excessive load coming in because of heavy carbon carryover. These pumps are installed with
Mechanical Seals as opposed to Gland Packing (std.). These vacuum packages come with Cyclone
separator, Inline Condenser & Inline Filter as standard. With more than 100 such installations
running, today Everest is very proud of this product and they way it has revolutionized efficiency,
reliability & effectiveness of vacuum as a utility with minimizing effluent discharge.

WRP Systems
EVEREST WRP Packages are a combination of a Mechanical Vacuum Booster and an LRP pump to
form the LRP Vacuum Packages. These vacuum pumps are ideal for pumping wet gas mixtures
(water-based) at coarse vacuum. Typically water is used as a sealing liquid in the backup pump and
this gives good sealing characteristic in the process wherein the process vapour to be removed is also
a derivative vapour of H2O. This vacuum package has high popularity in the Food Processing
Industry wherein water is being removed from the product to get concentrate and the process does
not require a very high level of vacuum. This type of vacuum package offers the lowest overall cost
of vacuum generation assuming vapour being pumped out is also water. This combination becomes
an extremely sturdy combination system with very low cost of maintenance.

Mechanical Vapour Compressor

EVEREST MVR/MVC are very unique designs of “Recompression Blowers”. These special designs
of machines have the capability to handle Steam Vapors thru itself. The vapour passes thru the
machines, is further compressed and then re-sent into the evaporator wherein it will transfer this
excessive latent head that it has gained as a resultant of passing thru the MVR(MVC) to generate one
more equivalent mass of vapour and in this process condense itself. In this whole process substantial
saving in cost of energy and utilities is delivered. These compressors act as very efficient pollution-
free alternatives to existing technologies. MVRs come in special corrosion resistance material of
construction along with special high-speed PTFE compound seals.

EVEREST EMVO & SuperVane are used in a growing number of applications where a low-cost
vacuum is required for the process industry. These pumps offer a compact plug & play vacuum.
These pumps are amongst the most rugged in terms of operation and offer good reliability and ease
of service which makes them a preferred choice of pump. Rotary vane technology has been
continuously developed and optimized over the decades, with an emphasis on operational
reliability and efficiency. Rotary vane vacuum pumps are known throughout the industry for their
modern and energy-efficient vacuum generation, in a wide range of applications. Whether for
intermittent or continuous use, you can rely on the pumps for long term consistent use. They have
some limitations of generation of clean vacuum & operation under conditions where there is a
possibility of process vapour entering the vacuum pumps & condensing & thus find limited use in
the chemical & process industry. They are thus being fastly replaced by DRY pumping technology.

LTTE | Low Temperature Thermal Evaporator

LTTE or Low Temperature Thermal Evaporator uses the principle of evaporating water at low
temperature, low pressure typically around 600C & 200 mBar (Under Vacuum) which is energy
efficient. The vapour is compressed using a Mechanical Vapour Recompressor which compresses
the vapor to a higher saturation temperature. The vapor is then re-condensed in an evaporator
adequately designed to recover the latent heat and re-condense this vapor to generate another unit
mass of vapor from dirty water. A specially designed heat exchanger with very low ∆T is deployed
to carry out this efficient compression. The whole system is designed to be compact plug & play
design to be deployed as a stand alone self sustaining system. This offers many unique advantages
converting wastewater into 99% clean water without using any steam or chemicals thus having
ZERO side-effects on the environment.
