    DUPONT™ KEVLAR® XD K140

    Technical data sheet

    High performing Kevlar® UD


    • DuPont™ Kevlar® XD K140 is a 2-ply unidirectional product that can simultaneously
    reduce weight while strengthening ballistic performance in soft body armor solutions
    designed to combat a wide range of standard and special threats.
    • Made with 100% genuine DuPont™ Kevlar®, XD K140 offers industry leading performance,
    while eliminating the hassle and uncertainty of multi-sourced materials and conversion
    processes.

    Proper use
    • Place the layers in the same direction to achieve optimal performance.
    • It is the responsibility of the vest manufacturer to design suitable products and obtain
    the relevant certifications before releasing vests to end-users.

    Proper handling
    • Avoid tearing and crushing the product.
    • Follow proper handling procedures in accordance with package weight when
    transporting rolls.
    Technical data
    • Do not use bleach or products containing bleach to clean Kevlar® XD K140.

    • Store in dry area, avoiding storage conditions exceeding 66 °C (150 °F) and avoid direct
