ALADDIN AND THE MAGIC LAMP

One sunny morning, a man in shabby clothes with a monkey was walking around the market. It was
Aladdin and Abu. They stole some jewelry belonging to traders and buyers. Don't forget Aladdin
took some food and he gave it to a beggar on the edge of the market. As he was looking around, he
accidentally saw a woman taking some food and giving it to abandoned children.
“Hey, you must be hungry. Take this, it's free.” Said the woman.
The woman was then approached by one of the merchants who found out that the woman had not paid
for her food. Aladdin immediately walked over to help the woman.
“Whoa, whoa, easy. What happened?” walk in front of the woman.
“She hasn't paid for my food, you poor bastard. You must pay now!” said the Merchant.
Aladdin inviting Jasmine to turn around “Trust me. I will help you.” He said. She was confused and
decided to trust Aladdin. He picks up one of the woman's jewels, then turns around. “Is this what you
want? Take this.” Throwing cloth bag after talking.
“Hahaha! Good work.” The Merchant receives cloth bag and opens it. There is nothing inside, no
jewels! “HOY! Where's the jewelry?!” ask the Merchant.
Aladdin and the woman escape from the Merchant. The two of them finally arrived at Aladdin's house
which was above the tower. The woman was very impressed with the place. She was happy to see her
kingdom so easily from up there.
“Welcome to this ugly house. I think you're tired, I'll make you some tea.” Aladdin walks in looking
for a glass and makes tea for the woman. While he preparing the tea, the woman start to walks around
the room.
“This place is amazing... Everything is clear from up here.” She said.
“Have you never been out of the palace before?” ask Aladdin to the woman. He gives the tea to her.
“No.” She answered.
The sound of the royal bell made the woman turn towards the palace, then left. “I have to go back.
And thank you...?” she asked before she left.
“Aladdin.”
“My name is Princess Jasmine, nice to meet you.”
When Jasmine had left, Aladdin realized that the woman's jewelry was still on him. He had to return it
tonight as well.
Night came. Jasmine paced back and forth in her room while biting her nails. She remembered the
jewelry she left at Aladdin's house. Jasmine thought of a way to get out of the palace without her
father knowing. However, unexpectedly, someone knocked on her bedroom door. Jasmine hastily
opened it and found that Aladdin was already in front of her.
“How... did you get here?” Jasmine was surprised.
“I just sneaked, to return this” Aladdin takes out Jasmine's jewelery from his pocket.
Jasmine accepted the item happily. “Thank you, Aladdin.”
“I have to come back soon. Enjoy your evening, Princess.” He turns around and leave.
When Aladdin was walking to leave the palace, he was held by someone. When he turned around, he
fell silent when he saw someone carrying a stick in front of him.
“I think I can punish a midfielder to enter the palace.” Said Jafar while dragging him.
Aladdin was led into the desert with Jafar the Royal Counselor, the person he had met earlier. Feeling
confused, Aladdin and Abu could only follow Jafar's steps with a heavy heart. They arrived in front of
a large cave that looked scary.
“Thousands of people have tried to get inside but nothing has worked. You young man, go inside and
get the Magic Lamp. Just the light, don't let you touch anything else.” Jafar pushes Aladdin's body
with a wand.
'Only one may enter here, one whose worth lies far within, a diamond in the rough’ that's the voice
that came out of the cave. Aladdin enters and he falls at the bottom of the cave. He immediately stood
up and walked to the top of the cave, where the Magic Lamp was. While exploring the cave, Aladdin
had time to help the magic carpet whose ends were crushed by a rock. The carpet thanked him by
flying around Aladdin. Finally, Aladdin found the Magic Lamp. When he was about to reach for the
lamp, Aladdin felt a vibration because it turned out that Abu had taken one of the gold there. Aladdin
managed to reach the magic lamp, but the cave door was closed by rocks. Aladdin and Abu were
confused and panicked. Finally he had an idea, Aladdin rubbed the lamp and a thick blue smoke came
out. Genie out of there. The Genie was surprised to see his surroundings.
“Wo ho ho! Where are we?”
“Excuse me?”
“Wow, hello sir! What are you doing here?
“Help me! Please get me out of here big blue guy”
“Hmm good idea, I can't stand this place either.”
Aladdin, the magic carpet, and Abu suddenly have moved to outside the cave. Aladdin was confused
but he realized that he was in the middle of the desert, above the sun.
“Okay. How do I get back...” Aladdin thinks. His hands on both waists.
“That's easy. You have 3 wishes that I can grant and you've asked for one. So, what is your second
wish, Young Master?” ask Genie while propping his chin.
Aladdin thought hard. He seemed to have an idea but went back to thinking it over. After getting an
idea, Aladdin goes to Genie and conveys his wish.
“I want to be a rich Sultan and have a lot of wealth so that I can marry the king's daughter.”
“Good wishes! In an instant you will become 'Prince Ali of the Land of Ababwa'!” Genie raises his
both hands up and clap twice.
Smoke began to swirl around, enveloping Aladdin. In a matter of seconds, Aladdin transforms into
someone who is well-dressed and expensive, in his trademark white hat. Abu also turned into an
elephant which would later be boarded by Aladdin. Genie also enlivened Prince Ali's troops. Genie
changes his form into a human basically with neat clothes. Prince Ali's entourage are ready to go to
the kingdom.
The booming loud music drew closer to the palace. Jasmine and the King who were standing on the
palace terrace immediately turned their attention. From afar, Prince Ali was seen riding an elephant,
waving his hand to the people, followed by thousands of his entourage. The King looked excited
because it was so lively. But Jasmine who was about to propose was not aware that it was Aladdin.
Inside the palace, Jasmine sat next to the King. Then Aladdin and Genie came in, then Aladdin took a
step forward towards Jasmine.
“I... Prince Ali, um, from Ababwa” He opens both hands.
Jafar was whispering. “ Ababwa?”
“And... I came here to propose to the king's daughter.”
The King turns into Jasmine. “What do you think, Jasmine? Do you want to marry this man? You saw
him carrying a hundred camels and a peacock. He also threw thousands of gold at the residents. He's
very rich...”
Jasmine stand from her chair and pounding the table. “Baba, I can lead my own kingdom without the
help of a partner!”
The King sighs, “I'm sorry about Jasmine, Prince Ali. You can stay the night here, and you can also
try to get close to my daughter. Wish you luck.”
Jasmine does not want to be betrothed or proposed by kings and princes from other kingdoms because
she wants to find her true love and she is very sure if she can become a queen who continues her
father's throne. However, behind it all, Jafar, who had been paying attention since the beginning, had
suspected Prince Ali. In silence he devised a plan to expel Prince Ali from the palace and his wish to
become Sultan would soon come true. Time changes so fast. The night rose from its rest. Jasmine was
busy combing her tiger fur, Rajjah. She did not realize that Aladdin was standing on the balcony of
his room.
While Jasmine was with Rajah in her room, Aladdin entered through the balcony. At that time he
explained that he was not Prince Ali, but Aladdin. After chatting, he took Jasmine on a flying carpet
around the kingdom.
Aladdin and Jasmine sat on the magic carpet. They were carried to fly around Arabia under the bright
moonlight. Jasmine was really very happy. Seeing Jasmine happy, made Aladdin's heart warm. The
two smiled at each other and looked around. When it was nearing midnight, Aladdin took off his coat
and slung it over Jasmine's shoulders. The two flew back to the palace.
Aladdin immediately returned to his room after saying goodbye to Jasmine. Genie, who was coolly
lying on Aladdin's bed, hummed happily. He predicted that tonight's events would go very smoothly.
Jasmine and Aladdin's relationship is getting better, Genie thought.
Feeling sleepy, Genie decides to return to his magic lamp. Parrot, who had been lurking from a
distance, immediately informed Jafar.
Jafar immediately went to the room where Aladdin rested and immediately took Aladdin's magic
lamp, then hid it under his cloak. When Aladdin arrived, Jafar immediately hid behind the door with
his Parrot.
Aladdin is confused because Jin is not in the room. Finally he was caught by Jafar who had learned of
Aladdin's plan. With his magic, Jafar moved Aladdin to a place far from the palace. That way, he can
use the magic lamp as he pleases and later rule the kingdom. Jafar rubbed the magic lamp and out
came Genie. He made his first wish to Genie. Jafar felt his body getting stronger, more and more
magic marks he had. Without thinking, Jafar went straight to the king in the morning. He told the king
that Aladdin had tricked him and fled with the palace's belongings. Unfortunately Jasmine wasn't
there with her father because she was waiting for Aladdin, who had actually been eliminated by Jafar.
With his magic, Jafar bewitched Raja to fall asleep. While he went looking for Jasmine, then
immediately made himself the Sultan.
Back to Aladdin. He was trying to walk back to the palace even though he was in a very cold snow
mountain. But who would have thought, a flying carpet emerged from the pile of clouds and
immediately brought Aladdin back to the palace to save Jasmine and the King.
Jafar with his arrogance, carried a magic lamp in his hand and approached Jasmine. He drive out
Jasmine out of the palace's main hall. Jafar sat on the king's throne and started rubbing the magic
lamp. Genie came out with his friendly smile. He makes a second request to Genie to become Sultan.
The sky began to darken. Genie's magic conjured the palace in an instant. The soldiers of the palace
gathered before the throne and bowed to Jafar. Jasmine who was watching from afar couldn't do
anything because she was bewitched to stay where she was. She can only wait for Aladdin to return to
save her kingdom.
Time changed to noon. Jafar stood before Jasmine to get married. Jafar with a smile full of pride
looked at Jasmine who was both scared and angry. He asks Jasmine to agree to their marriage, but
Jasmine refuses Jafar.
Just as Jafar raised his wand and bewitched Jasmine, suddenly a voice from the direction of the city
caught Jafar and Jasmine's attention. That is Aladdin. Aladdin comes with his flying carpet. Seeing
that, Jasmine immediately ran and fell free, managed to be caught by Aladdin and the two of them
flew up onto the flying carpet. Angry Jafar immediately rushed to the palace garden with his Parrot.
Aladdin drops Jasmine right in the palace garden and tells her to go find her father. Right after that,
Jafar came with a wand and magic lamp in his hand. Aladdin is already preparing to fight Jafar. The
two fought each other, but in the end Aladdin still lost against Jafar. Falling down, Jafar grabbed
Aladdin with his wand and started rubbing his magic lamp. Genie came out and looked at Aladdin in
shock. He really wants to help Aladdin, but he is only a Genie who can cast magic if there is a request
from his Master.
“Aladdin, you will soon be exhausted in my hands.”
“Enough, Jafar. No matter how strong you are, you will never get what you really want. You will
always be second,” said Aladdin.
“What?!” he started angry. “Just be second? How dare you talk like that, young man. Just so you
know, both your parents died because of me. They broke the work rules and had to pay with their
lives. They should bow to me. They have no right to live, just like you!”
Aladdin could not speak anymore. He was furious. So far he lives alone without his parents. And
finally he knew the reason where his father and mother had gone all this time. With great anger,
Aladdin made his last wish to Genie. He asked for a weapon capable of killing Jafar. With the sword
of the Genie, Aladdin is quickly able to fight with Jafar. Until he was caught off guard, Aladdin
quickly stabbed Jafar right in the chest, so that he died in an instant.
Aladdin, who has not been able to control his anger, forced Genie to restrain him. Jasmine who had
realized immediately approached Aladdin and hugged him, to calm his anger again. Aladdin still
couldn't calm down. He pushed Jasmine away and he loudly asked Genie to return to the lamp. After
giving Jasmine the magic lamp, Aladdin gave her a message. "I won't come back or regret what I did.
I'll get out of here and never look for me, Jasmine."
"No. What are you doing, Aladdin? This isn't you." Jasmine whispered.
"It's not really me, Princess Jasmine. Let's just pretend we never knew each other or fell in love." said
Aladdin, leaving Jasmine who was silent holding back tears.
