DRAMA “ ALADDIN AND THE MAGIC LAMP “

" once upon time in the arabian desert , there was a kingdom . There lived a poor tailor , who
had a son named ' Aladdin ' . He liked to play all day in the market with his pet Aboo the
monkey . his father has passed away when he is sixteen "

Aladdin : mother , i will work at the shop and earn money . Dont worry

" so Aladdin started to work in his father's shop . One day , a stranger came to his shop .

Jaffar : Hello , dear Aladdin . i heard about your father's demise . I was not in the city that time .

Aladdin : i have never met you before . Who are you ?

Jaffar : im your uncle . i had been living out of this country from many years .

Aladdin : ohh .. uncle . i had heard about you from my father .

Jaffar : i came here to show you a secret place . A hidden treasure . Come with me . Come along
.

Aladdin : A treasure ? . Ok ... lets go .

" Aladdin sat on his camel and they left for the journey . They travelled for days in the desert .
At last they reached two mountain devided by a narrow valley . "

Jaffar : Here we are . Gather some sticks to light a fire .

" as the fire was lit , the man threw a powder in the fire and started to chant some magical
words. The ground trembled and spit away . From below the ground , a flat marble stone came
up with a ring on it . "

Aladdin : Ohhh... hoo... . What's happening uncle ? im getting scared .

Jaffar : fear nothing , just do as i say . Beneath this stone lies a treasure , which is to be yours ,
so you must do exactly as i tell you ? . first you take this ring .

" Aladdin took the ring . The stone came up and below the stone there are the steps to go down
."

Jaffar : at the end of those stairs you will find a garden of fine fruit trees . Keep walking until you
come to a place . Where a lighted lamp stands. Pour out the oil it contains , and bring it to me .
This ring will protect you from danger .

" Aladdin went down the stairs carefully without touching its golden walls . Below the stairs ,
there was a garden of fruit trees . "

Aladdin : such delicious looking fruits !!! .

" Aladdin was hungry . He couldnt stop himself from plucking them . As soon as he plucked an
apple it turned into ruby .

Aladdin : Woooh ...

" Aladdin gathered as many fruits as he could in this way . Soon he saw a lit up lamp . He
removed the oil in it and piled it on the fruits . Aladdin return to the stairs , where magician
uncle was eagerly waiting . "

Jaffar : come on hand over the lamp to me .

Aladdin : my hand are full . come to help me uncle .

Jaffar : you silly boy , Either give me the lamp or stay here forever .

" In his anger , magician muttered some magic spells and the stone door shut closed . Aladdin
get locked inside the cave. "

Aladdin : uncle ... uncle... . Let me come out .. uncle ... uncle... . I shouldn't have believed that
man .

" Aladdin cried and cried for days , waiting for someone to rescue him , but no one came . "

Aladdin : ohhh .... somebody get me out of here , please somebody help me .
" while saying his wish , Aladdin touched his fingers on the ring and to his suprise he reached his
house . "

Mother : *cry* where you have been for such a long time ? , i searched you everywhere i could .

" Aladdin told her the story and showed her all the tresure he had collected . "

Mother : this lamp is so old .

" she rubbed the lamp to clean it . To her suprise , There came out an enormous Genie ! . "

Jin : Hahaha ... my lady .. tell me your wish . im your slave since you hold the lamp .

" Aladdin and his mother were astinished . Mother asked Genie for a feast since they both had
been hungry from many days . One day , Aladdin was taking a walk through the market with
Aboo. Suddenly he heard an announcement .

Prajurit : Shut down the shops. Clear the road.The Person whoever looks at the princess will be
beheaded .

Aladdin : Princess! i never seen her . Today i will see her anyhow .

" Aladdin hid himself behind a stack of barrels . There came princess's Palanquin . Aladdin was
mesmerised by her beauty .

Aladdin : Woooow ... She is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen . I wilk marry her .
" He ran to his house and told his mother about his newfound love . "

Mother : Hahaha.... . How can you even think of getting married to a princess ? The sultan wilk
get you beaten up it he finds out .

Aladdin : im ready for that . you just go to the palace and take my proposal . Take some of the
jewels fruits as a gift .

" Mother took some jewels fruits and wrapped them in a silk cloth . She went to the court of
sultan . The sultan's guards stopped her from entering but the Sultan was curious to see what
she has brought inside the silk cloth . "

Sultan : Hmmmm.. Let her come in .

Mother : Thanks a lot your majesty . i beg you daughter's hand for my son in marriage . My son
has fallen in love with the Princess .

Sultan : Ha hahahaha . it would be insulting for my daughter to live with such a poor man as
your son is . and what you have brought inside the silk rags .

" She unwrapped the cloth and showed the jewels to the Sultan . "
Sultan : oh hohoho . I have never seen such beautiful jewels in my life . im impressed . But
before i accept your proposal , your son must prove himself .

Mother : yes , your majesty

" mothet went home and told Aladdin about Sultan's conditions . "

Aladdin : hahahah . Dont worry

" Aladdin rubbed the lamp and asked Genie for what the Sultan demanded . Genie presented a
houseful of slaves with jewel in golden plates . "

Aladdin : Take this to the Sultan . this time he will be pleased .

" Aladdin's mother went to the palace immediately and presented the gifts . "

Sultan : you have impressed me again . But your son must build a splendid palace to live with
my daughter .

" mother went home and told Aladdin about the Sultan's condition . He immediately rubbed the
lamp and said his wish to Genie .
Genie built a splendid palace overnigt. "

Aladdin : well done Genie . Now give me a royal clothes .

Genie : yes master , as you wish .

" Genie dressed him . Then Aladdin went to the Sultan's palace . "

Sultan : good to see you , young man . You have proved yourself . You deserve my daughter as
your wife . start the preparation your wedding .

" Then Aladdin invite Jasmine to around the city by a his carpet fly "

*Aladdin and Jasmine A whole new world

Jasmine : Aladdin , I want to live with you forever .

Aladdin : of course my dear

" after got married , they live happily . Jaffar heard about marriage and Aladdin's sudden
richness ."

Jaffar : how did this boy escape from the cave ? he must stolen my magic lamp . I will teach him
a lesson

" Jaffar went to the Aladdin's kingdom . He disguised himself as a lamp seller . Aladdin wasn't in
the palace at that time . "

Jaffar : do anyone want to exchange old lamps ? with the new one ?
Jasmine : Aladdin will be very happy if i suprised him with a new lamp . He is using that old lamp
for a very long time.

" she took the magic lamp and made deal with Jaffar ( seller lamp ) . then jaffar instantly rubbed
the lamp and call out Genie .

Genie : Master tell me your wish . Im your slave since you hold the lamp.

Jaffar : take this palace aling with the princess to a far away place in the dessert , where no one
can find this palace.

" and boom the palace disappeared , when aladdin went to palace . He can't find it "

Aladdin : i must take the help of the ring . i wish to see my princess

" soon he found his palace , he entered the palace and he found the princess. "

Jasmine : Aladdin , im so sorry . i have change your magic lamp with the fake one .

Aladdin : no problem . i have a plan to take my magic lamp back .

" Aladdin gave her some potion . it which make the vistim unconscious . Aladdin hide behind
the door . Then jaffar came to the palace .

Jasmine : ohh dear jaffar . why dont you drink my juice i have made today ? please try

Jaffar : my queen i was waiting for this moment since such a long time. Give me the drink .
*jaffar drink the juice

Jaffar : does not everything look awfully dark in here ?

" then jaffar is fainted . Aladdin came out and took the magic lamp from his jacket . Aladdin
rubbed the lamp ."

Genie : master ... master ... tell me your wish

Aladdin : take us to the Sultan's kingdom along with our palace . Take him to a distant place
where there is no way out .

" They returned to the kingdom and start their lives. They live happily forever .
