1 Precast elements in general

We edited and corrected various messages of Quality Reporter. As a result, PLANBAR is
more stable and reliable.
2 Precast slab
In the case of precast slabs of the half floor type, PLANBAR automatically identifies
butting edges of offset panels as panel joints, marking them with the linear fixture for
cuts with the trowel (provided this fixture is selected).
3 Element plan
You can use “Change Reference Points” to edit dimension lines created automatically in
the element plan. The following rules apply to modifications by means of “Update
Element Plan”:
 If the dimension line update is turned on (that is, you can see “Turn off dimension
line update”), the next update moves the reference point back to its initial point.
 If the dimension line update is turned off (that is, you can see “Turn on dimension
line update”), the dimension line update does not change the reference point
adjusted manually.
To dimension sections, the layout catalog (Catalogs - General) provides the new “Check
positions of points to dimension” option. You can find this option in the Fixtures group of
Properties - Dimensioning.
 The “Check positions of points to dimension” option is selected by default. Points

of fixtures will be dimensioned only when the fixture points to be dimensioned are
within the section object.
 When you clear the “Check positions of points to dimension” option, all fixtures
that are within the section object will be dimensioned in the section, regardless of
whether the points to be dimensioned are within the section object.
PLANBAR always dimensions the fixture points to be dimensioned, even if they are
outside the clipping area.

PLANBAR correctly outputs the segment lengths of bar reinforcement converted to MWS
reinforcement by means of the “MWS Reinforcement Group” tool.
Note: The segment lengths in the production data have always been transferred
correctly.
You can find the new “Bar marks accurate to 1 mm” option on the “Welding points” tab
in Configurations - General - Attached reinforcement - Grid - Bars. This option affects the
positions of bars in a placement. When PLANBAR creates the meshes for UNITECHNIK,
this option defines whether
 The first bar of the 0° direction or 90° direction will be placed at a position that is
rounded off to 1 mm. The following bars can then be placed at the defined spacing
(always whole mm) and transferred to production.
 The values for bar spacing will randomly be rounded up or down to 1 mm
according to the specifications and transferred to production.
The new option is selected by default. This option is particularly important when you
transfer the elements in Unitechnik format to production because this format transfers
the parameters (±88888 = x-coordinate placement in mm, ±99999 = y-coordinate offset
in mm, and ±00000 = division = spacing between identical bars in mm) for the individual
bars in the records of the RODSTOCK block only when the values are integers in
millimeters.
The setting of the new option is irrelevant when you transfer the data in PXML format
because this format can transfer values that are smaller than 1 mm (for example, 0.5
mm). However, PLANBAR considers the setting of the new option. Change it, if
necessary.
5 Production planning, invoicing

PLANBAR writes the attributes of the elements to the PXML Delegate File. An
“<ElementInfo>” set will be written for the “Delivery-Measures” type (for all element
types) and for ”IpartAttributes”, “IpartSubAttributes” (for example corbels, stair
landings, and so on), and “IpartCustomerAttributes”.
All these attributes will be written as “ElementInfoVal” subnodes under an
“ElementInfo” entry. “Type” describes the attribute; “V” (= value) represents the
contents.
Note: The unit (“U” attribute) written by the PXML interface cannot be specified for
attributes of structural precast elements (IpartAttributes, IpartSubAttributes, and
IpartCustomerAttributes) because the design of structural precast elements does not
provide these attributes.
PLANBAR considers the additional definition for cage production when transferring
reinforcement layers by means of the PXML interface.
Instead of transferring the reinforcement layers for a cage as “Reinforcement type = 4
(other reinforcement [third bar layer])” as usual, PLANBAR now transfers the
reinforcement layers as “Reinforcement type = 1 (cage production: stirrup)” and “2 (cage
production: longitudinal bar)” in accordance with the PXML interface.
Note: When you transfer the cage data in Unitechnik format, PLANBAR transfers the bars
of a reinforcement cage as “Reinforcement type = 4 (other reinforcement)” as usual.
Note: There is no general setting for specifying whether you want to transfer the data as
usual or in accordance with the interface specifications. If you want, you can add a special
filter in the NC generator, driver catalog in Catalogs - Process planning. Should you have
