I INTRODUCTION:
MAPEH is one of the most enjoyable subjects when taught with love, commitment
and dedication. Students learn a lot when they enjoyed the subject very much and when they
have dedicated teachers to assist them during the teaching and learning process. They say
“You cannot give what you do not have” you cannot give what students want to get from you
if you are not willing to learn the topic to be taught. It’s a form of give and take relationship
between teachers and learners. You cannot get the desired outcome if you did not give them
Teaching is the noblest profession, for many are called but few are chosen. A born
teacher is a dedicated and committed teacher. Teaching is way of leading. Teaching is not
only to teach, but to mold lives of people, especially the youth. We teach so we lead. We
should be perfectly careful enough to what we say and do, we are the model, we are the
leader. We should practice what we preach, like many have said, we cannot give what we do
not have, and so, we cannot teach what we do not know. A great teacher is a reader, a writer,
a listener, a speaker. Without these characteristics, a teacher cannot be consider a teacher. For
a teacher is an all-around individual, a flexible creature and an instrument of God. Teachers
must, then, be competent and active in enlisting the unique resources and skills necessary to
meet the needs of kinesthetic, visual, and auditory learning styles or the what we so called the
Holistic individual. Additionally, the special challenges of addressing emotional behavioral
disorders, learning disabilities, and attention deficit problems-all in the same classroom-
broaden the gap between teachers and managers. Today's teachers are practitioners,
researchers, and change agents; but, none of these unique skills are recognized or rewarded.
To be a teacher needs a lot of sacrifices and risk to make things better, not only for
own sake but for the improvement of every individual. Sacrifices and willingness to learn,
these are the weapon of a teacher to achieve a better career. Attending such trainings and
seminars mould a teacher to be an effective and productive individual. Honing one’s ability
through training and workshops could contribute to a globally competitive teacher. As well as
a 21st century teacher could be an instrument to contribute to the world’s quality education.
An instrument of change therefore, she/he should engage and join some other learning not
only nationally but also internationally.
Who are considered unique individual? Who are the multi-tasking individuals? Who
can do what you do? Who can sacrifice what you sacrifice? Only teachers can do every role
our society offers. The reason a shortage exists in the field of teaching is simply because few
can do what you do. The teaching profession is profoundly unique. Teachers embrace the
field of education as a calling not as a job.
A. STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
Monitored students in the submission of their modules and answer sheets and
supervised students’ progress in their home learning activity through call or text and
Group chat (Messenger Account).
B. PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
The MAPEH teachers worked and helped together in the sorting of modules in
the different curriculum. We attended also several webinar training for the
professional growth and development of teachers. Cleaned and maintained also their
zones and classrooms and secured well the modules retrieved. Teachers also used
plastic storage box for the proper filing of answer sheets of students.
C. FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
The teachers in MAPEH Department attended seminars and implemented
Project for the betterment of the school such as;
Rosmel A. Buen Project “SHOW” Showcasing and Harnessing March 10, 2020
Ruby B. Sulio Students Outstanding Work
Alfonso U. Dantes II Christianity Today: Instilling Spiritual Values May 13, 2020
among Gen Z Learners
Attending Webinar Training this pandemic is an opportunity for the MAPEH teachers
to enhance and developed their teaching ability and this could be one of the accomplishments
of a MAPEH teacher to enhance their ability to be more productive in the field of teaching
and to develop better students/learners. The trainings will serve as the guide for them to
enhance their ability to teach the lessons or skills to learners.
