About the role:
Sealed Air Vietnam is having an exciting new job opportunity available in Supply Chain Division. We are hiring for a Supplier QA Leader, South Vietnam with base location in Ho Chi Minh, this role will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, quality control and management system in terms of supplier, manufacturing process and customer quality claims management, and to comply with customer's standards and the company’s global policies.
What does a Supplier QA Leader do?
• Monitor daily supplier operations including incoming quality control, manufacturing process management, outgoing quality assurance and finished product reliability, and develop manufacturing quality control strategic plans • Develop, implement, and maintain quality system to assure the quality control of products/process at supplier manufacturing and customer satisfaction • Continually review process, procedures, and cost effectiveness of the operations to sustain the effective methods of quality management, and provide quality data report • Monitor and report quality control progress, and provide defect analysis, preventive, and corrective actions • Provide relevant information and immediate notification to global counterparts, internal stakeholders, and be a key contact between manufacturing and customer sides • Ensure all activities in Quality Management System to remain the effectiveness of all functions in the operations and control team members performance • To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead and unite the quality team, work cooperatively with other functions, lead all quality concerned activities, work and build trust with customers and key stakeholders, with a keen understanding in quality management and problem-solving techniques. • To ensure the quality of component and supplier are met the requirements of regulation, customer, and company. • Manage and control suppliers for JIT activities to achieved customer requirement.
What are we looking for in you?
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering • At least 5 years’ experience working in all aspects of quality management and team management • Experience in electronics or electrical industries • Knowledge in Six Sigma or Lean improvement is preferable • Great leadership, communication, and management skills with sharp decision making • Excellent English in written and spoken due to the nature of business • Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical skills • Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics • Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory
