Content/Concept: What does it mean that Jesus has risen?

The resurrection of Jesus Christ means that believers are justified before God. He
was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
( Romans 4:25)

Objectives: Through class activities, students will be able to:

● Explain what holy week entails


● Describe the station of the cross

Objectives:

Content/Concept: Animal Habitat

A habitat is the home of an animal or a plant. Almost every place on Earth—from


the hottest

desert to the coldest ice pack—is a habitat for some animals and plants. Most
habitats include a

community of animals and plants along with, oxygen, soil or sand, and rocks.

The five major habitats are – forests, grasslands, deserts, mountains, polar regions,
and aquatic.

Living things get food, water, and shelter from their habitat.

There are many different habitats on Earth.

Three types of habitats

Terrestrial habitat: Terrestrial habitats are found on land, like forests, grasslands,
and deserts.

Aquatic habitat: An aquatic habitat is a habitat with water and includes areas that
area permanently covered by water, such as ponds, rivers, and oceans.

Arboreal: Arboreal habitats are those that occur above the ground in trees.
Development: Several pictures will be presented to students

● Elicit from students what can be said about the pictures. Volunteers will share
their responses.

Elicit which animal lives in the different pictures presented. Elicit, what's another
name for home?

● Have students use their dictionary to define the word "habitat."
