QEHS & CS JOB DESCRIPTION

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB.

• The QEHS Manager requires special management skills and responsibilities to handle specific goals of the
company or business establishment. He needs to coordinate with project managers and make sure that
the all activities are performed as per QEHS and IT/Cyber Security standards set/followed by LCC.

2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

▪ Establish an OH&S/QEHS Management System to eliminate or minimize risks to employees, public and
other interested parties who may be exposed to OH&S/QEHS hazards associated with projects and
activities.
▪ Implement, maintain and continuously improve already implemented OH&S/QEHS Management
System
▪ Assure itself of its compliance with its OH&S/QEHS Policy and demonstrate conformity with OHSAS
18001:2007 standard requirements by consulting and considering the concerns of internal and external
interested parties such as employees, OEM vendors, Mobile operators and industry standards and
regulatory bodies.
▪ Management representative for entire implementation and management of QEHS.
▪ To be responsible to ensure that all emergency preparedness arrangements are in place and that
workers under their control respond well and in a healthy and safe manner against such emergency
situations.

improve the high standards of Quality, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety in all of it’s under
taken Telecommunication related activities at all sites by:
Achieving satisfaction of its clients by meeting their requirements.
▪ Ensuring compliance of all applicable legal and other requirements.
▪ Ensuring prevention of pollution, injury & Ill Health of Employees.
▪ Providing Awareness of Policies to all stakeholders and interested parties.
▪ To be responsible for preparing/maintaining and updating IT/cyber security regulations as per OEMS
vendors, Mobile operators, Government regulations and industry standards.
▪ To be responsible for conducting in-house trainings to employees related to Child labor, Cyber security,
working at height, first aid etc.
▪ To be management representative in coordinating with third party trainers selected by LCC, OEM
vendors. Mobile operators or regulatory body for third party trainings.
▪ To plan and conduct surprise visits of ongoing various height, power related activities and making sure
strict compliance is observed.
▪ To train LCC employees including but not limited to Team leads, Engineers, Riggers, Helpers, drivers

about set of instructions to be followed in each activity.


▪ To be responsible for setting up IT system for coordination with drivers, riggers for online tutorials and
online assessment.

3. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

⚫ Coordinate with customers for updated policies and feedback on implementation of set policies

4. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Technical project managers.

5. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE.

• BE Telecommunication with PMC or equivalent with experience of at least 6-8 years.

6. WORKPLACE LOCATION.

• Centralized in Pakistan with frequent field visits (as per requirement)

7. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS.

• Written and spoken English (required)
