 CIVIC WELFARE TRAINING SERVICE (CWTS)


It promotes activities contributory to the general welfare and
betterment of life of the members of the community.

 LITERACY TRAINING SERVICE (LTS)


designed to train the students to teach literacy and numeracy
skills

the Republic Act 9163

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL
SERVICE RESERVE CORPS

“Section 11 of RA 9163 (NSTP Act of 2001), specifically


provides for the creation of a National Service Reserve Corps
(NSRC), composed of the non-ROTC Components: the Civic
Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training
Service(LTS), Members of this Corps maybe tapped by the
State for literacy and civic welfare activities, through the joint
efforts of DND, CHED, and TESDA.”
MISSION

 To provide a trained and motivated manpower pool that


can be tapped by the State for civic welfare, literacy and
other similar endeavors in the service of the nation

ORGANIZATION OF NSTP
GRADUATES
a. Graduates of the non-ROTC components of the NSTP shall
belong to the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) that
could be tapped by the state for literacy and civic welfare
activities through the joint efforts of DND, CHED and
TESDA in coordination with DILG, DSWD and other
concerned agencies/association.
b. The CHED, TESDA and DND, in consultation with other
concerned and non-government agencies, shall issue the
necessary guidelines for the establishment, organization,
maintenance and utilization of the National Service Reserve
Corps.
ORGANIZATION OF NSTP GRADUATES

c. Graduates of the ROTC program shall form part of the


Citizen Armed Forces pursuant to R.A 7077, subject to
the requirements of DND.
CWTS VISION

 To produce valuable and effective members of the


National Service Corps who may serve as leaders and
intermediaries in securing a quality life, maintaining
peace, harmony and growth to Filipino communities.
CWTS MISSION

 Strengthen the values and traits of the youth


 Improve the students’ skills and knowledge on various
endeavors
 Develop the students’ interest in community service
OBJECTIVES OF CWTS
 To develop and promote civic consciousness, enhance
the intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual and social being
of the youth.

 To inculcate among the youth the ideals of patriotism and


nationalism, and advance their involvement in public and
civic affairs.

 To instill moral values among the youth, inculcate


respect for the rights of civilians and adherence to the
constitution.

well be to good use by organizing Webinars or partnering with Health Officials and
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils in doing IEC Campaign focused
on control and prevention diseases.

3. Institution Relief Efforts through Community Extension Services Office


• The Institution continues to mobilize its resources and community to
respond to the crisis.

• T.I.P. remains steadfast in its efforts to


help frontliners in the fight against COVID-
19. Aerosol boxes and face shields are
continuously being produced and donated to
various hospitals around Metro Manila.
Prototypes of portable ventilators are being
fabricated, along with disinfection tents.

• All these are made possible by the


school volunteers who are one
