1. What is Mobile Blood Donation?

location outside of traditional blood donation centers. Mobile units or bloodmobiles travel
to places like schools, workplaces, community centers, and special events, making it more
convenient for donors. This approach extends blood collection efforts, supports emergency
responses, aids in corporate and community blood drives, and participates in special events
to promote blood promotion awareness. Mobile blood donation is vital for maintaining a
consistent blood supply, contributing to medical treatments, surgeries, and emergency care,
and relies on the generosity of healthy donors.
2. Who may donate Blood?
─ To be eligible for blood donation, individuals must meet specific criteria, including age, weight,
good health, travel history, medications, lifestyle, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, medical
history, and recent donations. These criteria help ensure donor and recipient safety. For precise
