Vishavjot Singh :-
It's been a long time since the pandemic created difficult times and conditions. However, not
only worse situations occurred, but also many better opportunities emerged during that time
as well, like some businesses got a huge boost from the pandemic's impact. We should not go
too far. As students, we have also faced numerous challenges in adapting to this new era of
"studying online" so quickly due to a wide range of limitations. There are several consequences
that result from this, both positive ones and negative ones.

There is one factor in particular that affects most of the students with a university level of study
in the right direction, and that is flexibility of time. The advantage of this is that students can be
able to attend tutorials that are posted online and get private office hours with their teachers
when needed. Due to my experience in attending classes online late and having some topics
left behind, I was able to quickly get to the topic by using the online content that I had access
to before the next class began.

“Studying online has obvious practical advantages for those who are time poor, who
are juggling work, personal lives, and study online learning gives student greater
flexibility to choose when where and how they study.”
— David Seignior, Learning Designer at the University of Melbourne.
(Mani, n.d.)

It should also be noted that after covid-19 struck, distance barriers are no longer present. Now,
even students who live at a distance from one shoreline can pursue their studies of their
interests without having to travel long distances to complete their studies. For example, if a
student lived in Europe and had to enroll in the Harvard University program while he was
visiting Europe, he would not be hesitant to travel to Harvard University directly without the
hesitation of traveling a long distance.

We also see some disadvantages as a result of this transformation, such as: - The lack of
experience of socializing in a community, especially with respect to sitting and talking behavior,
which are easy to pick up in a class. Various distractions, like notifications that keep appearing
on the top of the screen, a person has to exercise self-control in order to acquire knowledge at
the highest level, etc. All of the problems mentioned above will, however, have their own
solutions in the near future, regardless of what has happened in the past.

Sukhjeet Singh Jandu :-

To begin with one of the ways that is likely to bring changes within individuality and community &
society are better communication and economy improvement respectively. Both of these aspects
are well described below :-

COMMUNICATION FOR INDIVIDUALITY:-

I believe that the best way for individuals to express themselves in the most convincing way
is communication. To substantiate, my university education has taught me that
communication is the only skill that can express our thoughts, feelings and knowledge in the
most desirable manner and effective way. For an impact on others, a person should speak
really well. To strengthen the interpersonal relationships with others, effective
communication is one of the helpful skills. Apart from this, being a university student, I’ve
learnt numerous things and the result is that I’ve become a better communicator.

IMPROVEMENT OF ECONOMY FOR SOCIETY:-

University education has provided me with the enough knowledge about we can show our
involvement in the enhancement of economy so that our society and community can develop
more. University teaches us many strategies that can really have a positive long-term impact
on our local communities and societies. Sometimes, the university undertake some kind of
civic engagement, but embedding a holistic approach requires a clear vision and strategy,
underpinned by shared values and senior strategic leadership. As well as setting out a
strategy, it is important that there is a clear delivery plan that explains what, why and how
activity will make a difference. By following this path, we can contribute towards the
development of community. To be honest, by following university’s academic learning plans,
I’ve witnessed a huge positive change in my studies. Initially, I didn’t have any effective
learning strategies; however, by adapting them, my learning skills have improved a lot. The
most effective skill that helped me a lot in my studies is called Metacognition. It is a skill that
helped me to master my own thinking and learning strategies and is directly connected to a
learning cycle that has three major steps: Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Once I figured out what was worth learning, how I learnt, whether the efforts being made for
learning were enough and have I met my learning objectives, I became good at academics. I
believe practicing this skill will help me a lot in my career ahead as I will have different thinking,
communicating and problem solving skills than others. Moreover, it is said that the people who
have mastered the mind-sets and skills of effective learning can grow faster than their peers and
gain more of the benefits from all the learning opportunities that come their way. In order to
keep up with the techniques of this fast-changing world, my university leaning skills will help me
in every possible matter.

Gursimar Kaur :-
“Education is the most important weapon which you can use to change the world.”
-Nelson Mandela (project, n.d.)

INDIVIDUALLY:

Education plays an important role in everyone’s life. Additionally, education change the
life of people for example change the standard of living style of person as well as develop the
crucial personal skills.

LIVING STANDARD:

Educated people have knowledge about how to live healthier by following hygienic diet as
well as give time to do exercise regularly. To cite an example, educated people knows the
negative impact of smoking, taking alcohol and many others so they avoid taking these things. In
addition to it, they always like to live in clean environment, so they care for proper cleanliness
which change their living style. (Uopeople, 2009)

DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONAL SKILLS:

Education helps to develop various personal skills like makes people disciplined,
collaborative and many more. As all students manage their time for their studies as well as other
activities, so to get success, they become responsible as well as disciplined. Moreover, during
the years of their study they meet with different people as well as indulge in various activities
which makes them collaborative. (Uopeople, 2009)

COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY:

“Education is of key essence for modern society.”(Blog, n.d.)

Education can make a wide difference or changes in society as it helps to create a modern society.
Education is not only limited to learn what is written in books but also help to learn what is
happening in our surroundings as well as creates ethical values. Educated people are treated
equally based on their knowledge and skills as well as they have equal opportunities either in the
field of education or other fields like jobs or businesses. Furthermore, education can also control
the crime rate which is the major problem these days. Because educated people can make
difference between what is right and wrong. Nowadays, gender-based violence is also a critical
problem in undeveloped communities which can be eliminated with the assistance of education.
When these things are eliminated from the societies it gives rise to new and modern
society. (Blog, n.d.)

LEARNING EXPERIENCE DURING COVID-19:

Covid-19 has both positive and negative impacts on the students learning as the method
of learning has changed from physical classes to the online classes. According to my perspective,
online learning is more time saving method as well as I was able to explore more studies material
in my free time. As during physical classes I have to commute to city to attend the school which
far away from the home. But in online classes students have attended classes with the help of
virtual technology at their homes. So, it saves a lot of time. In addition to it, students devote this
time to focus more on their studies instead of wasting their time in vehicles for commuting. So, I
find online learning a convenient way of learning.

In future, I also like to learn online through various e-learning method, for example using online
applications such as Biju’s, marination and many more applications which are providing online
education with best study materials.
