    Co-responsibility means speaking out for social justice and equality. Look for a person who

    represents this purpose, include his/her picture, and write how he/she has achieved it

    Fanny Rosmira Salas Lenis

    She is a renowned Chocoan leader born in Puerto Salazar, Medio Atrato, a jungle area that is difficult

    to access and has many deficiencies, whose natural resources have been the target of illegal

    exploitation.

    Fanny Rosmira Salas, for at least 32 years, has dedicated herself to counteracting these difficulties.

    From a very young age he has led productive peasant projects and organized cultural groups that

    have ensured the well-being of the communities in this area of Chocó.

    She is currently the representative of the Greater Community Council of the Comprehensive Peasant

    Association of Atrato (Cocomacia), which brings together nearly 40 communities.

    In recent years, his work has been framed not only in maintaining the oral tradition of Afro-

    descendant culture among children and adolescents, but also in denouncing a wave of illegal mining

    that is rapidly devastating the ecosystem.

    CREATING:

    After reading and understanding the lesson on Co-responsibility, record the answers for these

    DEVELOPMENT:

    1. It is necessary to start with ourselves, the example is the best way to influence the people of our

    community, not only taking care of the communal spaces, nor also promoting regular maintenance of

    them, additionally it is important to promote social activities that promote improvements in the

    community and in the communication of the sector.

    2. Taking into account that social justice is a series of conditions that are valued positively in a

    society, what you personally could do to help others is to demonstrate interest because social

    conditions and equality are constantly improving.

    The first thing is to identify with the needs of others, to be able to help from my position if possible,

    or failing that, creating or directing them to the different support and guidance channels that are

    already established by the different government entities.

    4. Indifference is what is most emphasized in society today, which makes each person worry about

    themselves regardless of the conditions in which the person on the side finds themselves, which is

    why it is necessary to contribute from wherever we are a grain of sand to the people around us, either

    through our own resources when possible or in their defense by providing guidance to entities or

    organizations created for such purposes.
