    Series of 2019

    CREATION OF TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP FOR THE


    BAYAMBANG TOURISM DEVELOPMENT ACTION PLAN 2020-2025

    WHEREAS, local governments are mandated by the Local Government Code of 1991
    otherwise known as R.A. 7160 to develop and promote tourism and the general welfare in
    their respective jurisdictions;

    WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 95-162, encouraged Local Chief
    Executives (LCEs) to organize Tourism Councils in their jurisdictions, composed of
    government and private sector representatives to formulate programs and
    recommendations to develop local tourism facilities and attractions tapping local
    resources and funds;

    NOW THEREFORE, I, DR. CEZAR T. QUIAMBAO, Municipal Mayor of the


    Municipality of Bayambang, Pangasinan, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do
    hereby order the creation of the technical working group for the Bayambang Tourism
    Development Action Plan 2020-2025.

    SECTION I. FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE

    1. Prepare a work plan for the preparation of the tourism plan;


    2. Formulate the tourism plan; and
    3. Consult with residents and other stakeholders of tourism areas

    SECTION II. COMPOSITION OF THE COMMITTEE – The Technical Working Group


    shall be managed and supervised by the following:

    SECTION III. ROLES OF THE COMMITTEE – The Chairperson shall have the
    principal responsibility for directing and overseeing the development of the tourism plan,
    according to schedule. The chairperson is responsible for chairing major tourism planning
    sessions, and shall designate a representative in sessions that he/she will not be present.
    The Committee shall actively participate in all activities identified in the work plan. The
    team shall develop realistic goals, appropriate strategies and identify programs, projects
    and activities that best contribute to the attainment of the tourism goals and objectives of
    the locality.

    SECTION IV. FUNDING – The budgetary requirements for the conduct of activities and
    delivery of outputs shall be sourced from General Fund.

    SECTION V. EFFECTIVITY. – This Executive Order No. 21, Series of 2019 takes effect
    immediately upon its issuance.
