4. If the temperature of a cake is 300 deg F when it leaves the oven and 200 deg F is
ten minutes later, when will it be practically equal to the room temperature of 60
deg F say, when will it be 61 deg F?

5. Obtain the solution of the following differential equation:

xdy−[ y+ x y 3 (1+ ln x ) ] dx=0

6. The population of a certain country has grown at a rate proportional to the

number of people in the country. At present, the country has 80 million
inhabitants. Ten years ago it had 70 million. Assuming that this trend
continues, find (a) an expression for the approximate number of people
living in the country at any time t (taking t = 0 to be the present time)
and (b) the approximate number of people who will inhabit the country at the
end of the next ten-year period.

7. Acquire the solution of y ( 2 xy +1 ) dx + x ( 1+ 2 xy −x3 y 3 ) dy=0
