"BEAUTY AND THE BEAST"

CHARACTERS::
● Belle
● Beast
● Gaston (A man who is inlove with Belle)
● Maurice (Belle's father)

SCENE 1: BELLE'S COTTAGE


Narrator: Once upon a time in a quiet village, there is a beautiful young woman named
Belle.
Belle: (Singing) Little town, it's a quiet village...
[Maurice enter.]
Maurice: Belle, I'm going on a journey to the nearby town. Is there anything you'd like?
Belle: Just a rose, Papa. I love their beauty.
[Maurice exits.]

SCENE 2: THE CASTLE


Narrator: Belle's father, Maurice, stumbles upon an enchanted castle, home to the
Beast.
[The Beast enters, growling.]
Beast: Who dares enter my castle?
Maurice: Please, sir, I meant no harm. I only wanted to pick a rose for my daughter.
Beast: Very well, but you must stay here as my guest.

SCENE 3: BELLE'S DECISION


[Back at Belle's cottage.]
Narrator: On the other side, Belle was worried about her father.
Belle: Papa hasn't returned. I must find him.
Narrator: Belle leaves her cottage and discovers the castle. As she discovered the
castle she see her father being imprisoned.
Maurice: Belle, you must leave. It's not safe here.
Belle: I won't leave you, Papa.
[The Beast enters.]
Beast: You came back... for him?
SCENE 4: BELLE'S STAY
Narrator: The Beast asked Belle between saving herself or saving her father. She
chooses to save him; The Beast locks her in a cell and carries Maurice away.

SCENE 5: GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER


Narrator: As time goes by, Belle and the Beast begin to bond.
[Belle and the Beast walking in the garden.]

SCENE 6: THE ROSE


Narrator: After a magical dinner, Belle ventures into the West Wing of the Castle, where
she finds the Beast’s wilting rose. The Beast accosts Belle for entering the room,
prompting her to run out of the castle into the night.

SCENE 7: GASTON'S PLAN


Narrator: Gaston rallies a crew to rescue Belle from the Beast. He was upset that Belle
rejected his proposal.
Gaston: Belle should be with me, not that Beast!
Narrator: He gathers a mob of townspeople.

SCENE 8: THE CASTLE ATTACK


[Townspeople attack the castle.]
Narrator: Gaston leads a mob to attack the castle.

SCENE 9: TRANSFORMATION
Narrator: Gaston confronts the Beast. Fortunately, Belle arrives just in time to stop
Gaston.
Belle: Stop, Gaston!
Narrator: Gaston falls and he run away scared and defeated. Belle confesses her love
for the Beast.
Belle: I love you, Beast.
Narrator: And that when the Beast transforms into a handsome prince.
Beast: And I love you, Belle.

SCENE 10: HAPPILY EVER AFTER


Narrator: The curse is broken, and the castle and its inhabitants are transformed.
Everyone dances in celebration. Belle and the Prince live happily ever after.
[End of the play with a dance.]
