Dear students,
We at Galgotias university are eager to welcome you to your beautiful campus. The team of one of the
most highly experienced faculty members and staff are ready to take you on a journey towards your
holistic development.
This has reference to our earlier communication regarding the start of the academic session for students
admitted in the Academic Year 2023. We had earlier informed you that the academic session will
commence from 16th September 2023.
There is a VVIP event scheduled in the vicinity of the university campus and the Hon’ble Prime
Minister of India, Chief Ministers and International VIP are expected to be using Galgotias University’s
world class Infrastructure for the MotoGP 2023 event starting 20.09.2023 – 24.09.2023 at the Buddha
International Circuit, all roads shall remain closed due to high security reasons. The University has
taken the decision to postpone the start of the academic session to avoid any inconvenience to our
student and parents.
The new date for the start of the academic session is 26th September 2023 (schedule attached).
Please report to the Galgotias University Campus on the dates of your respective school. The
different dates for reporting of different schools is given in the Annexure I.
Also bring filled Registration Form as given in Annexure VI.
We understand that the announcement of a new date for the start of the academic session may cause
some adjustments to your plans and we regret the inconvenience.
We at Galgotias University are keenly looking forward to welcoming you at the campus. The fresh
schedule of the orientation program and hostel reporting is attached herewith.
The schedule of Hostel Reporting, Registration and Orientation on campus for the First-Year/Lateral
Entry /Migration students is attached as Annexure I.

The faculty and wardens will be at the hostel registration desk to guide/assist you through the hostel registration
process. The students will be given a hostel registration form and after submission of the filled form and hostel
fee receipt, they will be allotted a room opted for as per the fee paid. The students should bring with them the
following items at the time of reporting to the Hostels.

▪ Blanket or Quilts
▪ Toiletries
▪ Lock
ANNEXURE III: ON CAMPUS REGISTRATION
a) On arrival at the campus, proceed to the registration desk of your Department/ School, where a team
of faculty members will guide you through the registration process.
b) Registration Form has been attached as Annexure VI. You should bring the filled form along with you
to complete the registration quickly.
c) A copy of the fee receipt should be attached with the registration form.
d) The balance fee, if any, can be paid at the fee counter at the university. Original Documents and a copy
of the same should be carried for verification (document checklist is given in Annexure III).
e) After your school/ departmental registration your Id Card will be issued (in case not issued yet) by the
ERP/ admission department. At the time of issue of id card, you will be provided with your student
iCloud login. All class related information will be available on your iCloud login.
f) You will be added to the School/Department WhatsApp group after the due completion of the
admission process.
