    Jungkook is the youngest member of the famous South Korean boy band BTS. He was born in 1997 in Busan, South Korea. As a child, he dreamed of being a badminton player but became inspired to pursue singing after seeing a performance on TV. In 2011, he auditioned for a talent show and was offered roles by seven entertainment companies, ultimately choosing Big Hit Entertainment. Jungkook debuted with BTS in 2013.     Jeon-Jungkook or in Korean 전정국, born in September 1, 1997, in Busan, South
    Korean. Jungkook is a South Korean singer and songwriter or better known as the
    youngest member and the vocalist of one of the South Korean famous boy band
    named BTS (Bangtang Sonyeondan).

    Jungkook was raised by a very traditional family with parents Mr. Jeon and Mrs.

    Jeon (He hasn’t revealed the name of his parents yet until now) and with an older
    brother named Jeon-Jung Hyun. He attended Baekyang Elementary and Middle
    school in Busan. Young Jungkook initially had dreams of becoming a badminton
    player, but after seing G-Dragon (also a South Korean singer) perform a song
    named “Heartbreaker” on television, it inspired him to want to become a singer.

    In 2011, Jungkook went to Daegu to attend an audition for the South Korean
    talent show named Superstar K. He thought he was not selected but he received
    casting offers from seven entertainment companies. After seeing RM also as know
    as Kim Namjoon (that now his fellow member and the leader of the group)
    perform, he choose to become a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment which is
    now known as HYBE Corporation. When he became a trainee, he transferred to
    Singu Middle school in Seoul.

    On June 12, 2013, Jungkook debuted as a member of BTS with the release of the
    single 2 Cool 4 Skool. On 2017 he graduated from School Of Performing Arts
    Seoul.

    Under BTS, he has released three solo songs. One of his songs titled “Euphoria”
    was released on April 5, 2018, as the introduction to the third part of BTS “Love
    Yourself” series. Produced by DJ Swivel, the song charted at number five on the
    Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100. “Euphoria” and “My time” are the first and
    second longest-charting solo tracks among Kpop singers on the Billboard World
    Digital Song Sales chart, having spent a record 90 and 85 weeks respectively on
    the ranking.
    Jungkook has been credited as the main producer for two of BTS’s songs: “Love
    is not over” and “Magic Shop”.

    Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth covering one of his song called “We
    don’t talk anymore” in a special collaboration stage and collaborated again with
    Charlie, featuring on the single “Left and right” which is was released on June 24,
    2022.

    In July 2021, he was appointed Special Presidential Envoy for Future


    Generation and Cultures by President Moon Jae-in, a long with the other
    members of BTS to help “Lead the Global agenda for future generations, such as
    sustainable growth” and “expand South Korea’s diplomatic efforts and global
    standing” in the international community.

    In March 2022, he received his degree from Global Cyber University’s


    Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment. He was awarded with the
    President’s Award, the school’s highest honor.

    During his career, he received a nickname by his fans called “Golden Maknae”
    (Maknae means the youngest in Korean) because of his excellent skills in almost
    every industry, like: singing, dancing, composing music, rapping, painting, sports
    and so on. He has repeatedly broken records due to his popularity. Therefore he
    made tons of achievements such as, The youngest recipient of Order of Cultural
    Merit at the 2018, Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards. He was named by the
    magazine “The sexiest international man in 2020” because of his buff body and
    incredible fashion statement over the years. Jungkook was named “The most
    wanted Kpop Idol”, he was the most searched Kpop idol on Google in 2020 with
    a search index of 628.57. And some other achievements that we can’t even count.
    Until now he and his band mates is one of the the most famous Kpop boy group all
    around the world with over 40 million of fans that they called ARMY, which is
    stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth.

    For me personally, Jungkook is the member of the group I like the most since the
    first time I started to stand BTS. Not just because of his appearance but also
    because of his amazing skills, his efforts, his personality and so much other. For
    me he’s one of the loveliest and kind hearted person I ever seen.
