1. BASIC FUNCTIONS

2. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
2.1 Maintaining and providing updates to all medical records, doing all regular tests and exams
on patients, ensuring the effectiveness of personnel, and collaborating with the nursing

must perform.
2.2 Manage all patients in units, offer and suggest the most economical techniques, help
doctors with all daily rounds, and take part in recurring performance and evaluation of
performance development programs.
2.3 Manage the hiring of employees and give them the necessary training, as well as oversee
the nursing department's activities and all medical and laboratory services provided in
accordance with resident needs.
2.4 Manage all staff communications and guarantee that all joint commission regulations are
followed while administering all nursing services offered. Participate in different
committees.
2.5 Plan and arrange each committee meeting, keep an effective timetable for all nursing tasks,
and make sure all facility and resident criteria are met.
2.6 Create a timetable for all shifts, making sure that none of them overlap, and supervise all
nursing facilities in accordance with hospital standards while managing all available
resources.
2.7 To meet all patient needs, keep an eye on all patient care activities, verify that all hospital
policies are followed, review all shift member assignments, and uphold all nursing unit
regulations and procedures.
2.8 Create a quality assurance program for all nursing activities, maintain control standards on
all work, engage in DQC meetings, and help nursing departments with any problems they
may be having.
2.9 To arrange all nursing staff meetings, compile reports for the same, and monitor
compliance with all goals, collaborate with the shift head nurse.
2.10 Give all new staff orientation, create training programs for them based on requirements,
execute system modifications, and assess all continuous quality improvement programs and
related papers.

3. EDUCATION
3.1 Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School
Frequently an MSN/ Other Nursing Master’s Degree
