    Research about Hair Rebonding

    Introduction

    Hair rebonding is a way of straightening your hair using powerful

    chemicals. The process takes several hours. Basically, water breaks the

    hydrogen bonds of the keratin molecules in your hair. A chemical, usually

    formaldehyde, then crosslinks the new design of your hair structure in a pin-

    straight alignment.

    Hair Rebonding

    It is a chemical hair treatment designed to straighten and smoothen

    curly or wary hair. It involves using chemical to break and restructure the

    natural bonds in the hair, followed by neutralization and setting to create a

    straight, Sleek appearance.

    Types of Hair Rebonding

    1. Japanese Hair Straightening

    Uses a solution containing a high concentration of chemicals to Straighten the

    hair.

    2. Keratin Hair Straightening

    A milder form that involves using Keratin protien to relax curls and reduce

    frizz.
    Chemicals Commonly Used in Hair Rebonding

    Relaxing cream: contains chemicals like ammonium thioglycolate or

    soduim hydroxide to break and rearrange hair bonds.

    Neutalizer: usually hydroxide peroxide or another oxidizing agen to set

    the newly structured bonds.

    Procedure in Hair Rebonding

    1. Hair Assessment: Hair is analyzed to determine its condition and type.

    2. Application of Relaxing cream: Applied to break and restructure hair

    bonds.
