"Kunwari si Kikoy"
Plot:
The film revolves around Kikoy, the main character, and his life as he reminisces about his
past memories that lead to his death. Kikoy remembers his late childhood friend, Mia, and
how her death affected his mental state. He became depressed and non-consolable to the
point that he would not interact, speak to his classmates, nor show emotion. Kikoy falls
asleep inside their classroom and wakes up, surprised as it seemed like he was
non-existent. He leaves the classroom and proceeds to "teleport" to different places of his
past as he remembers the memories that had happened in those places. He was reminded
of his past, the positive memories and even those that he did not want to remember---how
he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and how they could not do anything to stop it from
spreading. This leads to Kikoy, breaking down and realizing that he had already passed
away. The film then transitions to a memory of Kikoy and Mia, as Mia promises to wait for
Kikoy no matter how long he takes. The film ends with Kikoy and Mia, together in the
afterlife. "Hintayan sa langit", as stated in the film.
