    Confirmation for different types of anchor devices EN 795:2012 and CEN/TS 16415:2013

    Dear Mr Weiss,

    on June 19th, 2018 you ordered a confirmation letter (as overview) for different anchor devices
    EN 795:2012 (and CEN/TS 16415:2013 for special types), which were tested by TÜV SÜD Product Ser-
    vice GmbH between 2013 and 2017.

    The table 1 shows all anchor devices of company Rothoblaas, via dell´Adige 2/1, 39040 Cortaccia, Italy,
    which were certified according PPE Directive 89/686/EEC and tested according EN 795:2012 for 1 per-
    son (and CEN/TS 16415:2013 for special types for more than 1 person – detailed information about the
    number of users can be found in the test reports or confirmations) by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH
    between 2013 and 2017.

    The co. Rothoblaas has sent a confirmation letter (see annex) in which they confirm that there are no
    changes on the above mentioned products in relation to the above mentioned certificates, test reports or
    confirmations.
    Based on that we confirm with this letter, that the above mentioned products (see table 1) are still con-
    form to EN 795:2012 (and CEN/TS 16415:2013 for special types).

    In addition to that, based on PPE Directive 89/686/EEC, Art. 11A or 11B, PPE category III products must
    be checked annually by notified body. Co. Rothoblaas choose Art. 11B procedure, done by notified body
    TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH in 2014 (certification audit) and 2015 (1st re-certification audit), see
    table 2.

    Since December 2015, anchor devices type A, C and D are no longer categorized as PPE
    according PPE Directive 89/686/EEC.

    Between 2014 and 2017, the below mentioned anchor devices (see table 3) are positive tested according
    EN 795:2012 (and CEN/TS 16415 for special types).
