Analysis and forecasting are pivotal in

research methodology. Analysis involves
systematic examination of data to uncover
patterns, trends, and relationships. It serves as
a foundation for informed decision-making.
Forecasting, meanwhile, utilizes historical
data and statistical techniques to predict
future outcomes. Together, these processes
guide research design, data collection, and
hypothesis testing. They empower researchers
to make evidence-based decisions, anticipate
future developments, and contribute to a
deeper understanding of complex phenomena
in diverse fields.

DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS USING JASP

JASP offers frequentist inference and Bayesian inference on the

same statistical models. Frequentist inference uses p-values and
confidence intervals to control error rates in the limit of infinite
perfect replications. Bayesian inference uses credible intervals and
Bayes factors to estimate credible parameter values and model
evidence given the available data and prior knowledge.

Qlik (formerly known as Qliktech) provides a business analytics platform. Qlik's

Associative Engine lets users do big data analytics, combining a number of data
sources so that associations and connections can be formed across the data. The
two main data analytics products, Qlik Sense (current cloud-based software) and
QlikView (legacy on-premise product), serve different purposes running on the
same engine. QlikView for analyzing static data, while Qlik Sense allows
concatenation of different data sources, allowing drill-down on an individual data
record.

program by NIST, which was conceived by Joseph Hilsenrath in years

no significant development since then.
