Microhabitat

Organism 1: The ecological niche of plants includes providing

food to all the primary consumers hence they occupy the role
of producers in an ecosystem. Plants produce oxygen during
photosythesis which is used for breathing by all organisms. They
also provide shelter to various insects like ants, butterflies etc.
Fungi decomposes dead and decaying organisms hence they
occupy the role of decomposers.

Organism 2: The ecological niche of a butterfly is pollinating

plants in your garden. When they do this their bodies collect
pollen and carry it to other plants. This helps fruits, vegetables
and flowers to produce new seeds. The majority of plants need
pollinators like bees and butterflies to reproduce.
