Summary, Conclusion,
and Recommendation
This chapter presents and wraps up all
the information that the researcher
collected about his research.

In this chapter, you need to

go back to your research
problem, the methods you
utilized, and the data you got.

The following are the parts of the
chapter:

Summary and
Findings
On Writing Summary, Conclusion,
and Recommendation
Summary
Summary is the first part of the chapter. You need to restate
your research objectives and questions and present the
methodology.

The fastest way to work on one is to write two paragraphs for it:
- First paragraph summarizes the rationale, objectives, and
statements of the problem
- Second paragraph summarizes the methodology: the
research design, participants, data gathering procedures,
and the statistical treatment utilized.
In the first paragraph, the
rationale is presented as
well as the interests of
the researchers.

On the other hand, the

second paragraph shows
the target participants,
the design, the data
collection method, and
the analysis utilized.
Findings
The findings of the research revolve on the data
collected and analyzed by the researchers. It is
usually organized in a bulleted manner and is
following how the statements of the problem is
presented.
This is how the SOP is
presented. Look
closely to the next
slide.
This is how the
findings are
presented.
Findings
Always remember to simplify your findings. If
the data is easy to understand, then your future
readers will not have a hard time understanding
it.

Conclusion
On Writing Summary, Conclusion,
and Recommendation
Conclusion
Conclusion is where researchers restate the most
important result that they have found out. Most of the
time, if the research has a statistical question that needs
to be answered, it can be presented again in the
conclusion after restating the intentions and the
statistical treatment.

One paragraph is enough for conclusion.

This is what a conclusion looks like.
04
Recommendation
On Writing Summary, Conclusion,
and Recommendation
Recommendation
Recommendation is where the researchers give
suggestions to the different stakeholders if they will be
interested in the study. Most of the times, researchers
always to back to the Significance of the Study to refresh
their minds of who will be their beneficiaries. Also, they
add future researchers in the end of every
recommendation to persuade others to continue the
study especially if there were limitations seen during the
conduct.
Remember to write
your
recommendations
based on your results
and limitations.
