Responsibilities & Organization

• Maintain all equipment necessary for Operations


• Operate:
• Gas lift turbines: ≈ 600 MMCFD capacity
• Turbines ,Gas and Diesel engines for offshore power generation
• Power House: ≈ 20 MW capacity
• Maximo CMMS: ≈ 130,000 equipment tags
• Personnel: ≈ 575 (GUPCO and Contractors)
• Five Divisions:
• North Turbines
• Central & South Turbines
• Mechanical Maintenance
• Electrical & Instrument
• Maintenance Engineering
North Turbines Division

• Operate and maintain turbines and compressors for offshore gas lift, and
power generation
• Personnel ≈ 110
• 25 gas turbines on 6 offshore platforms: 21 gas lift, 4 generators
• 2 Rolls Royce Avon 200 (now Siemens)
• 10 Sulzer (now MAN Energy Solution)
• 9 Allison 501KC5 (now Siemens)
• 4 Allison 501KB (now Siemens)
Central & South Turbines Division

• Operate and maintain turbines and compressors for onshore and offshore
gas lift, and Power House generation
• Maintain turbines for water flood pumps
• Personnel ≈ 50
• 24 gas turbines:
• Gas lift: • Power House
• 1 Solar Mars 100 • 3 Solar Centaur 47
• 2 Solar Centaur 47 • 3 Solar Centaur 45
• 2 Solar Centaur 45 • 3 Ruston (now Siemens)
• Water flood:
• 10 Solar Centaur 45
Mechanical Maintenance Division

• Maintain rotating equipment for offshore and onshore facilities.


• Personnel ≈ 180
• Maintain ≈ 600 pieces of equipment and 3000 WO/yr. Includes 94 gas & diesel engines
• 46 crude oil pumps
• 4 gas lift compressors
• 29 fire pumps
• 38 air compressors
• 34 generators (gas and diesel)
• ≈ 450 other pumps (drains, condensate, potable water, etc.)
• Lifting operations & equipment inspections
• Machining & fabricating parts

• Fire & gas, and fusible loop systems; deluge systems
• SDV & BDV (≈ 750); SRV (≈ 1200)
• Power generators, transmission, transformers, feeders, breakers
• Motors (≈ 1800)
• Flow and level transmitters (≈ 3000)
• HVAC
Maintenance Engineering

• Provide engineering support for maintenance activities.


• Personnel ≈ 25
• Condition Monitoring:
• Vibration and reciprocating machinery analysis
• Electric circuit infrared analysis
• Lubricating oil analysis
• Maximo CMMS administration:
• ≈ 70,000 total PM routines
• ≈ 23,000 SCE
• Engineering:
• Project and modification design studies
• Equipment failure analyses
• Equipment performance analysis
Maintenance Faced problems

• Gas Lift Recycle Problems

• J#10 Gas Compressors Bad Design & Shortage in Spare parts

• Man-ES Packages FSR Security Permits

• Maint. Team lack experience due to shortage in Manpower
